Nope. Watch the All-Access Bama and see that he's diligently paying attention and taking notes. I'm sure he's homesick a little and as a freshman is questioning himself, but he's not looking to transfer. Not yet, and I hope not ever. It's a stupid corndog rumor probably started by a Barner.

There is no problem with Sims work ethic, and we took Ely because if we didn't we'd only have 2 scholarship QBs on the roster next season.
Sims is a great talent and has been very impressive. IF he were to transfer it would be after NEXT season if/when McCarron wins the job and plays a full season and he doesn't wait to wait until McCarron leaves to play (and I'm not saying that will happen either, but would be understandable).
Anything outside of what I just posted is BS.

from what I have heard this guy will be a great scout team qb. SImms is 3rd now and if he understands the offense will likely jump McCarron if he has the better arm or so I have heard.

The idea that us taking Ely means we're upset with Simms is literally one of the dumbest things I've ever read on the internet. We'd only have had two scholarship QB's next year if we hadn't taken Ely, no coach wants to go a whole year with two scholarship QB's.
I guess its possible that Sims could transfer next year if McCarron won the starting job but it would be silly to do so before then.
