On the 5-3-1, do you actually do the Deload weeks or skip them? I ask because when I first started it I never wanted to deload but I think doing it is probably helps to not plateau. All I got.

IDK. Descriptions above sound exactly like the guy I'm talking about.
People who are really blind extend their stick out further and feel around and walk at a quicker pace.
This guy walks around like a penguin tapping it directly in front of him and shaking his change cup like has Parkinson's. Noticed him making a bee line (slowly) toward us and moved 15 feet or so in opposite direction and stood completely still. He changes course and starts shuffling toward us again.
Have definitely seen him on canal many other times.

Ha. Same guy tried to come up to me when I was waiting on my valet once on Canal and I knew he was a fraud immediately. He was shuffling over toward me so I moved to a different spot and he did a 180 and started heading right toward me again. Shuffles around super slow with his stick and shaking his change cup.
Probably cleans up on all the dumbass tourists.

Supposedly it isn't official yet, but The University is considering whether or not they will allow.
I'm guessing this will blow up if they don't allow it to happen.

I'm a day late but thought I'd help. Some crappy and/or dated advice in this thread (with a few exceptions)
Soho is a cool area but personally, I'd stay downtown instead. Soho is fine, though if you must.
For night life the two areas I’d hit up are downtown or Avondale
DOWNTOWN
Carrigan's - Very cool spot. Recently opened the roof up too. Disagree on the "bad service". I've been a million times and never had a problem. It's a gastopub though so if you're expecting to be waited on like a traditional restaurant you're at the wrong place
Paramount – Cool dowtown bar, one of my favorites. Both this place and Carrigan’s have great happy hour/after work crowds. Owned by the same people as El Barrio (Mexican restaurant close by). El Barrio/Paramount/Collins Bar is a nice trifecta for dinner/drinks
AVONDALE
Avondale area is another cool spot that has been and continues to be revitalized.
Avondale Brewery/41st/Parkside are cool bars in the area and can eat at Saw’s BBQ, Post Office Pies, or Melt. All good.
Lakeview isn’t as much my thing as it used to be, but Slice Pizza is always good for food/drinks. If you’re younger than me, you might enjoy Innisfree (can get a little packed in there depending on when you go). Moe’s BBQ beside slice is another option.

“@amari_coop2: If you play any sport you got to be "G.U.M.P" that's great under major pressure. Imma start putting that on my wrist tape before every game!”
“@amari_coop2: So next time you make a big play make sure you let everybody know you G.U.M.P lolol”

Gallettes if you're looking for "talent".
If you're genuinely more interested in watching the game, probably BWW (not on The Strip).

We'd still have a better D, OL, WRs, so probably.

re: LSU vs Bama Comparison by Position
Posted by Gump on 11/1/12 at 4:17 pm
If Bama's advantage at WR is only "slight", then LSU's advantage at RB is DEFINITELY only "slight" (if they even have one....only one guy can carry the rock at a time).
LBers are not "even", either. Not close.
This is the weakest group of WRs I've seen at LSU in a decade, IMO.

re: Bama fans. Are y'all pretty much just chalking this up as a victory?

Pretty much. I'll be pretty pissed if we allow their O to find the endzone.
