Statistics don’t tell the whole story. Watch Georgia play really good defense and then watch Bama. Much more potential left on the field

Did you watch any Bama games the past few years?

Here are some issues:
1. Stunting our best pass rushers inside.
2. Dropping our best pass rushers into coverage.
3. Some of the most poorly designed blitzes I've ever seen.
4. Inability to adjust (e.g. we were trying to play bracket coverage against Hyatt this past year and he just kept burning our Safety deep, yet no adjustment was made).
5. Inexplicably dumb calls (e.g. not putting a spy on Daniels in OT this past year).
6. Assigning ILBs to cover RBs on wheel routes.

That list is not all-inclusive of his faults, but those are some examples of why Bama fans don't like him as a DC.

as much crap as BoB is getting he helped develop a QB who won the heisman and if not for the shoulder injury he was on pace to win another one. And yes I was not a fan of his play calling but how do we know it was not poor execution. We did not really peak in the regular season until beating AU and then in the bowl game.

I mean… I guess I’ll bite. If that’s the case Brady is the Right Said Fred of football because he hasn’t been able to do it again.

Right said fred or not. In 2018 Coach Whiteboots and his bestest good friend Steev Insminguh led the LSU offense to a blistering ranking of 69. They did this with a milquetoast transfer quarterback, receivers who only sometimes liked to catch footballs and the wrong guy starting at running back. These frickin' bookends couldn't even get their personnel right.

Enter Joe Brady.

What would've definitely been a free agent or late round pick ends up a Heisman winner and going number one overall.

Two LSU receivers, who in the previous season couldn't catch footballs go in the first round and LSU's undersized starting running back who ran about 650 yards the previous season goes in the first round as well.

Everything about that offense is Joe Brady. If left to Whiteboots and Ensminger, none of that happens and everyone in the state of Louisiana knows it. All those guys are utterly ruined in their hands.

No one gives a shite about what Joe Brady has done in the NFL.

The RPO game relies on short passing which would bother me if Ty is our QB but not if 4 is the guy. Sorry had a name brain cramp. Too lazy to look up.

not sure I want a true RPO thing which is what Gus and his bus ran,

Such is the life of an Alabama fan. We have to fire the highest scoring OC we've had b/c he just wasn't quite getting it done. Skipping the playoffs was, apparently, too much for us.

On one of our boards, their is a long discussion with Lebby going to bama. If Lebby goes anywhere, there is a possibility of Jackson Arnold going with him.

Is there any merit to this? No idea.

joe burrow didn't even really work with joe brady. brady worked with the receivers. joe worked with george munoz.

No, there is no merit to any of it. Saban has tried, and thus far OU/Lebby turned him down.

Brady has clearly stated several times he does not want to go to college and absolutely despises recruiting.

I hope Alabama hires Joe Brady or Kliff Kingsbury.

It will be beautiful.
