Sorry, but no way do you guys repeat. There's ALOT of talent at Bama but time and time again Saban proves that he thrives off of experience. You lose 8 off of your defense and lose your only offensive weapon in TR. 10-3 next year Bammers, dont become spoiled, better enjoy it while you can. (Coming from a Gator.)

we will not repeat next year...we will look a lot like we did last year. major potential, some close losses with 2013/14 looking good.

i just want to enjoy this n.c for at least a day before we start worrying about next year.

You guys are forgetting... your OC is leaving. He's been there since, what, 2008? That's a lot of years under the belt.

I'm not saying it's going to be worse or better, but it's a change.

The feeling that you can just switch people in and out is not even remotely limited to Bama fans though. Its pretty much across the board.

Its way too early to call a certain amount of wins. Have to wait and see who we lose to the draft, who other teams lose, preseason injuries, etc.

I agree 100%. I just think it's kind of loopy for someone to think that Bama could go 12-0 next season after losing people like Richardson, Hightower, UpShaw, Menzie, Kirkpatrick, Barron, Vlachos, Harris, Chapman, Hanks, Maze, etc... Sure, they can be replaced. But I don't see any 2012 starters, on the Bama defense, being as good as the players lost on defense. Maybe eventually, but not by next season.

At the 2 most important position/groups (QB & OL) on offense, Bama is returning experience & talent. The OL will be the best in the conference.

On D, the front 7 will be premier. The secondary should be better than 2010. Milliner & most likely Lester return. With the acquisition of 2the JUCO CBS, experience wont be as big as an issue.

11-1

They have the kind of offensive speed to get on the edge, so we'll see. DeNard is much better than Jefferson, and we saw how improved Michigan's defense was this season. Then again, they didn't play anyone of upper SEC caliber.

I follow Michigan a bit and they are going to be in trouble next season. They lose key DL,Ol,and WR. I have watched a lot of Denard and he wouldn't scare me one bit. He is worse than jefferson when it comes to passing.

Michigan is going to overated to start the season next year and they will be an easy win.

Next years team will be worse than this years and this years team benefited from a weak schedule and a ton of luck.

Easy ranked win for Bama to start the season.

Kirkpatrick will be a 1st round pick, so I'm leaning towards definitely.

FWIW you said the same thing in the preseason about this Bama team, so I guess this means Bama is going back-2-back

It's possible, but he's stuck in that weird situation were staying doesn't do much for his firm draft stock.

I don't remember exactly what I said (when do I ever, lol), but Bama returned just about every defensive starter. I didn't think they'd go undefeated this year, and they didn't, but I also thought they'd lose more than 1 game. Losing almost the entire defense this season =/= losing Julio, Ingram, and Dareus. Much harder to replace what's leaving now.

Plus, let's also mention that nearly everything went in Bama's favor at the end of the season, except TR winning the Heisman

There's alot more depth at Bama than there was last year. The offense should be able to take some of the pressure off the defense next season as well. It loses less than we did in 09 and should still be top ten. That along with returning what we do on offense, it's possible next year can finish 10 to 12 wins.
