If Auburn had done their part it would have been #1 vs #2 in Tuscaloosa next week.

I think it will probably be 1 vs 2 next week. Just not sure how smart the AP voters will be about it.

I don't think so, and I'm not sure why Jimmy Dykes keeps saying it.

Auburn still has a much better body of work.

I think it’s #1 Bama vs. #2 Auburn if both teams hold serve in the midweek games. Has that ever happened? That will be a pricey ticket in Tuscaloosa.

Auburn will still be #1, don't believe ESPN.

That's set by Monday. It'll be 1v2. Just not sure about the voters yet.

I stand by my statement that you were celebrating Johni's injury, especially saying something like this in light of the fact that Auburn still has a great chance to be #1 come Monday.

Leave it to an LSU fan to start a thread like this to jinx Bama.

Doubt it. Auburn should still be #1 easily. Duke MAY have jumped them since they had the head-to-head win.

Yeah. They had their shot.

And lost to a team that lost to the SEC's weakest team in USC.

ESPN will require that Duke be #1, even though they lost.
