Well, most don't play them for 2/3rds of their season at the midway point, so...

Speaking of passing defense, Tennessee is #122 in the nation.
Alabama passing offense is #14 yards per game and #1 in passing touchdowns

Everyone plays cupcakes. What a lame thing to say. You are about to see first hand how good we are on offense and how good our pass rush is.

Seems like Mizzou said the same thing.

Could be.

You'll soon get to find out if your defense can endure more abuse than ours.

I think Bama played a real offense and defense last week and is the most complete team in the conference. Doesn’t say much for the conference since FSU kicked the shite out of them

Alabama has played 3 of the top 15 offenses in the country. You are stupid

What I think is interesting is the concept of parody vs parity?

Does this season prove the SEC sucks? Is this just a diluted and degraded version of college football?
Or is this functional equality?

NIL. The portal. $10m coach's salaries. What is played on Saturdays is definitely different than in any time in history of the sport. It probably wasn't a good idea to get into a race with the BIGX where money decides the outcome more than anything else. They simply have more of it. Always have.
Except, Indiana is now if not the best team in the BigX, close to it. This has never happened. Is it because of the rest of the BigX sucks? I don't think so largely due to the fact that the sport has never been more watched.
Tejas/OhioSt drew 16.62m viewers. The average NFL viewership in its first week was 20.7m viewers.

There is a place for parody. One could say OkSt and OrSt are parodies. They certainly aren't competitive, but parody doesn't typically drive up viewership.
Parity on the other hand does. Every NFL team fans believe their team can win "Any Given Sunday."
With NIL, Oregon has gone from winning 2 conference titles from 1950-2000 to going undefeated in the BigX.
You are seeing what makes the NFL so watchable come to the NCAA on Saturdays. Upsets have always happened, but they are happening less and less these days. It isn't because the rich are richer, but because you can realistically win at Vandy now while being favored on the road.

Whether we want to admit it or not the vol is correct. The volunteers bring an offensive brand of football that we have indeed not seen, is dangerous, and when they execute it well it is very difficult to stop. Knit picking top 15 rankings or “real” offense doesn’t mean shite. If bama’s defense doesn’t bring it the potential is there for us to get carved up. I just think they will bring it
