Or they exaggerrate an injury like Colt McCoy and quit on their team, when they are needed most.

I think BAMA started NIL payments a little earlier than everyone else. Like many years earlier, and took it to a different level.
I knew it wouldn’t be long before the sips start to aim their media/investigation guns at the top dogs. It’s never about what goes on during the game with them they try and beat you off the field with allegations and suspensions. We tried to warn y’all.

1977 and 1991 come immediately to mind. They would have won the national championship in '77 but got routed by Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl. They had a shot at the national title in '91 but got blown away by Miami in the same bowl game.

I'm sure those participation trophies will mean just as much as the real thing.

No, Bama would still have 5 even if LSU didn't get smoked 21-0 in a national championship game in their own state.

They dominated back in the AP era when teams claimed titles of bowls they didn’t even win

Typical ignorant #insecureLSU fan, that is not how that worked. They AP awarded them, teams didn’t “claim” AP titles you dumb shite.
