Go look at OU’s 7 titles.

1950 - lost the sugar bowl to Kentucky.
1955 - won against Maryland
1955 - consecutive bowl games prohibited by conference. Didn’t play in a bowl.
1974 - ineligible
1975 - won against Michigan
1985 - won against penn state
2000 - won against FSU.

They’re a great program HISTORICALLY. They’re certainly relevant now but they’re more on par with Georgia as far as being good but not winning the big game in the modern era. They dominated back in the AP era when teams claimed titles of bowls they didn’t even win. That’d be like LSU claiming 2011, Georgia claiming 2017 and Alabama claiming 2018.

Texas claims 1970 despite losing the cotton bowl.

Let’s realize something. These are two great programs historically but neither has actually won or even played for a national championship in over 10 years. They need us. We don’t need them. FACT

Texas and Michigan have a lot of wins but don’t have many national championships to show for it. Plenty of good but not elite seasons because they usually choke

And you owe every single one of them to Mack Brown

Wait no. You get to keep 2012. That was the Notre Dame one right? That was the only one before Mack told our regent to shut Saban down.

But, Texas would survive wonderfully without Austin and TU/UTjr/Moo Moo's.

Shush Ted, don't make me turn your economy back to the stone ages. I know a guy who knows a guy who could get Space Force moved out in a snap.

You're also the hub for this. Tech can relocate; this is bone deep. The people in the 3rd pic might be the same as the 4th

Don’t get your dildo up in frenzies. You’ll be bottom tier and you’ll like it.

I think BAMA started NIL payments a little earlier than everyone else. Like many years earlier, and took it to a different level.

How would the departing (fired) coach possibly have any input on a potential new hire?

It’s stupid, but keep pushing it, Goebbels Jr.
