It wasn't a well-officiated game but home cooking is unlikely. The multiple missed calls going in either direction.

The missed illegal procedure by the bama wide receiver on the tying TD happened right in front of the side judge.

Hard to understand how he missed that.

Not really. He was just a small fraction of a second early.

I am not going to whine about missed calls but I do think that some of he calls, if made, could have changed the outcome of the game. The two worst ones in my opinion were the call against us on the blocked punt and the missed face mask which coul have extended our drive. It's too bad but it is part of the game. Bama did not need any help but thy got it anyway.

I do think Bama was the better team but we had them on the ropes with a chance to win.

If called correctly on the blocked punt then Alabama would have been called for false start and backed up five yards and punt again. As for the facemask yes that was a missed call just like they missed Hardman's heel out of bounds. There we are even

Hardman was not out of bounds. Replay showed he was inbounds. I did not see the false start on Bama for the punt.

Nah. Inconclusive at best.

The edge of the line isn't out of bounds

Small fraction??? He took a step hesitated and started another before the hike. It was an easy false start call and their receivers did it more than once.

There were definitely some no-calls that I think drastically changed the complexion of the game in Alabama's favor, but I'm not one to whine about that sort of thing. It's part of the game. Alabama won.

I do have one Bama friend (no that this is representative of the whole fanbase) who has spent the last two days getting irate when anyone brings up any of the 3-4 calls/no-calls that changed the game. It's crazy. Just let UGA fans have it. It's not gonna change anything. I guess a national championship every other year isn't enough for him

GG bama. I just want to see the dawgs win it all once in my lifetime.
