This is true but the troll was saying that all McCarron does is throw 2 yard dump offs which turn into 60 yard touchdowns.

I said in the nov5 game that's all he did. If you would stop running that di(k sucker long enough, you'd know.

He led his team to second in the west. Bama was gifted a title shot. Sorry no one outside of Bama respects that title. And you saying LSU was inferior doesn't bother me in the least. I'm
A single father and care about more shite than a game played by kids. But you know everyone clings to something THt makes them feel better. For you it's Bama football.

Nobody cares who won a meaningless division title. Everyone knows who the undisputed National Champion was and is. The Alabama Crimson Tide...led by QB AJ McCarron. Deal with it.

But those passes were completed against Honey Mustard and he wouldn't have even started on that BAMA defense. He gave up way to many big plays that night. He played so bad I started feeling sorry for him. When Musberger told him to fear the Tide that was more than I could take.

Yeah the national defensive player of the year wouldn't have started for Bama.

That doesn't make any sense at all considering the circumstances of our conversation. Do you have an IQ of 80?

And AJ McCarron did more than dump off passing. I remember a few completed passes to Maze and Hanks over the middle that were more than just dump offs.

Just not part of THE RECEIVING CORP

You might want to restate that. THE RECEIVING CORPs is the combined group of ALL eligible receivers. The WR corps is only those receivers designated with an X,Z or W but you could make a legit argument to include the H-back with that group depending on how he is used.

If I'm the delusional one, how come ONLY Bama fans are saying he is top 3? Not one other teams' posters are saying he is. He was avg at best. He could end up top 3 after next year and I actually think he might, but t this point he isn't.

I don't think it is unfair to say he's top 3. I think Wilson, Bray, Murray, and McCarron are the top 4 that are returning. Franklin at Mizzou will be interesting since he didn't play in the SEC last year. So those would be my top 5.

None of those guys are good enough to where I think they're easily number 1 on the list. Murray and Bray were both under 60%.

Bray lost to Kentucky which is a bad sign in general. He threw 6 TD and 6 INT in his 4 SEC games.

Murray was under 60% but had an overall decent performance in most of his SEC schedule plus GT/BSU/MSU.

McCarron was a little under 67% and only threw 3 INTs in his entire SEC schedule. He had over 8 yards per attempt. Had one of the best O-lines and RBs in the league.

Wilson put up very good numbers. He only really struggled versus LSU and Alabama which is no sin. He had the best receivers in the SEC.

Franklin had pretty good passing stats. His INTs were a bit high, however he ran for almost 1000 yards.

I don't look at any of those guys and think they're by far number 1. It looks like a list of solid guys but no Andrew Lucks or RG3s on the list. I think Wilson might be a Heisman contender with Petrino there even losing receivers. Bray had the worst stats last year but he probably has the most talent. I'm not really sure how to rank them at this point.

I'd probably go:

Wilson - leads a really strong offense and had the best stats and 4/1 TD/INT ratio. Only lost to LSU/Bama. Had 0 games with multiple INTs.

McCarron - only lost to LSU. 3.2/1 TD/INT ratio. Won a national championship and played better against LSU than any QB in the SEC. Highest completion % of these guys at almost 67. Had 1 game (Kent State) with multiple INTs.

Murray - 2.5/1 TD/INT ratio. Lost 4 games. 59% completion. Had 3 games with multiple INTs (2 were losses).

Bray - Played 7 games. Threw multiple INTs in 3 of them. Under 60% completion.

Franklin - I didn't get to watch him enough to judge plus there are very few similar opponents.

That being said I still think Bray is the most talented. He just didn't prove it last year. He had big numbers against Montana, Buffalo, and Cincy and did very little against SEC competition. Two of the SEC games were against Vandy and Kentucky. He was very mediocre with a fairly easy schedule.

What's it like being emotionally unstable in Murfreesboro? Is it even more infuriating because it's so common that you don't stand out in a crowd?

Holy shite. I'm out GUNTS. AJ isn't a top 3 qb and you all know it. You do know that JORDAN Jefferson in 09 had better or similar stats to AJ in 2011. Just let THt sink in when you're calling him top 3

Jordan Jefferson in 2009:

182 of 296; 2,166 yards; 61.5%; 17 TDs; 7 INTs

AJ McCarron in 2011:

219 of 328; 2,634 yards; 66.8% 16 TDs; 5 INTs

Yeah...not similar at all.

188 yards per game 16TD in 14 games. Those are game manager numbers. Not top 3 SEC QBs. Deal with it.

Let's not forget he split snaps with another qb for two games.
