Tell that to your gump buddies who were kissing TJ Yeldon's arse last week.

For the LSU fans...are any of you concerned that the guy leading the Tigers this year was a third string QB last year that couldn't beat out the golden boy, Jefferson, and couldn't beat out Lee for the seconds string job?

I mean Cam Newton came right in and took over the Auburn program and led them to a NC..even though it will be revoked one day.

True, but you can see why fans are excited about Yeldon..he did very well in the spring game...how'd the QB do in the spring game?

Threw for 270 yards and 2 TDs. But then again, it was just a spring game.

He also threw two Pick 6's that I saw, brought back flashes of J. Lee for me. I hope Mett doesn't end up breaking Lee's pick 6 record.

Yeldon may actually end up challenging McCannon for the Heismen.

Mett threw as many interceptions in a spring game as Lee did all season. The Jarrett Lee of this past season wasn't the same Jarrett Lee of the past. He matured a lot.

I agree and he also is the QB responsible for beating Alabama the last two times y'all beat us which is why it blew my mind that MIles didn't play him in the NC game.

FYI, taking a handoff and running with it is a little easier than learning every receiver's routes on each play, knowing blocking assignments, calling audibles at the line, reading coverages, etc. etc. etc.

I know this. But how has Yeldon fared against a SEC defense? I'm not saying the guy isn't going to be good b/c he obviously will being a RB at Bama but let's let him actually play on a college football field before we throw him in the name for the Heisman. And let's also not get mad when LSU fans show confidence in our own QB. What do you want LSU fans to say about Mett? "Oh shite, we fricked,"?

QB is a hard one to predict. Mett wasn't great in the spring game but people mentioned it is a spring game. Jefferson was quite hyped a few years ago and that died. I tend to think he'll be pretty decent but if he was superman, then he probably would have played last year.

Mettenberger will be the best in the nation. Mccarron will be overrated and rely on the nonexistent rushing game

The great thing about our team is we don't need a superman. Just someone's who good enough, like AJ was for Alabama this past season. As bad as JJ was in the NCG, the play calling was also atrocious.

Yea...we will have the best O Line in the nation with Eddie Lacy, Dee Hart, and TJ Yeldon running behind it. Also, McCannon will break passing records at BAMA this year.
