You do know that the flag that you seem to believe is so big, is actually only 15-20 feet off the ground, right?

I mean, Bama fans do know the flag was not actually attached to the stadium in any form, right?

The flag flew above the construction grounds on what appears to be mobile lights.

Should have took the flag and made t-shirts out of it.

Is this some diner or something?
Yeah, great place literally right next to the stadium. Small, but has Alabama memorabilia hanging on the walls and ceiling.

It was where AJ had his photo taken for the cover of Sports Illustrated.

THis incident is a case study in overreaction.

Everyone invovled has overreacted to this in some way. More the fans than anyone else.

Personally i think the incident was funny, but stupid on the part of the crane operator for losing his job(and facebook comments he made).

I think its pretty funny that they put it up in the Rammer Jammer. But dumb rival fans will use it as an excuse of bama fans being bama fans.

its just a flag yall.

Didn't Auburn kill the grass in from of BD with the 2010 score? Didn't LSU and TAMU deface Coach Bryant's statue with shirts, capes and stickers.

The big difference is those were things done by fanatical fans. The flag was hung by an employee of a company working on a $500 million project. There needs to be some sense of professionalism. If you're going to do this shite don't go bragging about it all over Facebook and twitter.

Flag will be stationed where more than 50% of Alabama fans have never been...Alabama's campus.

A few years ago, when BD was being renovated, Some Tennessee fan hung a UT flag on the cranes. Wonder if he lost his job.

Why do Alabama fans take pride in being obnoxious, trashy, pathetic piles of elephant shite? Seriously

I'm starting to feel bad for these people. The fact that this flag means so much to them shows how pathetic and miserable their lives truly are.

I'd be amazed if it wasnt the comments claiming to have sabotaged work on site that got him canned rather than the flag. flying the flag was IMHO all in good fun and the type of thing these college rivalries are all about. its kinda creepy when its done by old guys and not the college kids but its still harmless fun nonetheless.

I don't think it's the flag hanging that got him fired. It was most likely him saying he purposely sabotaged the foundation of the stadium all over facebook.
