Bama doesn't need to worry. They beat UT. It's just what they do.

Well, I mean, not in the last few years, but still...no worries!

Ehhh...

Syracuse is #6 because of 2 games - Connecticut and Colgate. Those two games account for 9 of their 13 passing TDs.
Syracuse is 29th when you measure against P4 teams, averaging 265 yards per game - they threw for more against Tennessee.

UAB is a G5 school. They threw for more yards against Tennessee than any other team.

Even mentioning ETSU should be embarrassing.

Yes, it seems high to me but I thought the Missouri game wasn't going to be as close as it was.

That's b/c idiots like you still just look at the jersey's and listen to mainstream pundits.

UcheaT has NO DEFENSE. Mizzou has a defense dumb dumb. Hence why your QB was sacked what? 4 times against Mizzou?

Thank you! And again, don't worry about Tennessee. You've got it in the bag.

It depends on Miller. Primarily his blitz pick up. If he was 100%, I'd have less concerns.

Players with concussions almost always miss at least 1 week so I highly doubt he plays

If UT plays like they did against State, the refs might go to a running clock in the 4th quarter.

Bama fans declared Mizzou is a crappy team even though the line against us was 3.5 and we lost by three. Tennessee must be horrible.

It's about the same for both.

It was @ Mizzou last week, so that 3.5 points for Mizzou. Meaning, on a neutral field, the spread likely would have been about 7. If the game was @ Alabama, then Alabama would have gotten 3.5 and the spread would have been around 10.

The UAB QB is a veteran QB and an ex Florida QB. He was very highly recruited out of highschool. Jalen Kitna.

His coach, the infamous Trent Dilfer, says he's a much bigger talent at QB that he himself ever was as a college QB.

The kid can ball and sees the field very well. Quick release. Would be a top 5 SEC QB easily, especially if in the correct offense and system for him.

Vols have faced some really good QBs so far. Much more so than usual for this time of the year.

the Willie Martinez factor. I've never understood how he can keep working out there...but he's like a dog turd in a boot tread. He's hard to get rid of.

He's like a quiet Todd Grantham.

Hey retard......so did the SEC. Why do you think they gave us the taunting, targeting, and fake punt b.s. spot?

The SEC wasn't taking any chances dumbazz b/c even they thought lil ol mizzou might beat the mighty gumps.

Also, why they made it an 11:00am start I suppose.

Seems high to me. 3-3 1/2 seems more realistic. But I don’t gamble, so what do I know

I mentioned them because they were on the schedule. I mentioned every team that Tennessee played (good or bad). I wasn't selective in my stats like some cherry pickers on here. At the end of the season, Eastern Illinois will be one of the teams that Bama has played. Anyone who isn't a homer would include them because they are part of the dataset.

Here's some more data.

Yes, UAB had a season high passing day against UT. They also lost by 32 points. UT was up by 35 at halftime, and pulled the starters. UT scored 56 points, and their last score was a defensive score with 2:37 left in the 3rd quarter. At the end of the first quarter, UAB had 23 total yards of offense. At halftime UAB had 7 points and 136 total yards of offense.

Steve Angeli (Syracuse's QB) threw for 29 more yards against UT than he did against Clemson. He had a higher completion % vs Clemson, and his QBR was lower against UT than it has been against anyone they've faced. Sure, Clemson isn't the same as they used to be...but Syracuse beat them worse than LSU did.

It is what it is. You can only play the schools on your schedule, and so far Tennessee has played teams that have pretty strong passing games.

Seems right to me...favored by 3 over us, and Tennessee has been our bitch ever since we arrived in the SEC....yeah, I said "arrived" in both a literal and rhetorical way. Use a dictionary to figure out what I said gumps.
