Whoever wins will have three national titles in the BCS/ playoff era and be nipping at Bama’s heels with Bama on the decline. So I would expect they loathe both options.
LSU of course would have done it with three straight separate coaches. Nobody would bet on Clemson doing shite if Dabo left.

The way I see it I’d like LSU to win. They’ll be competitive in the west but we win next year at their house and make it 8 outta 9 and then go on to 9 outta 10. I don’t mind throwing them a bone between championships. See Auburn. Hell even if we don’t win the next two it’s certainly a lopsided rivalry in our favor. But if Clemson wins then Dabo starts making the case for the greatest dynasty in College football which we own. He’s young and can go for 20 more years. O and LSU doesn’t stand a chance to create a true dynasty. They’ll be damn good, but no dynasty.

1/9/12 LSU probably had the most disappointing, pathetic National Championship game appearance ever.
Clemson's recently won 2 titles. LSU needs this to mentally get over that horrific game.
