Because Bama sports a 25-9-2 record in Baton Rouge?

So what keeps Saturday from being their 10th win?

I don't think it will make much of a difference.

Never said that wasn't possible. Just stating why Bama fans aren't in "fear" of Tiger Stadium. Bama owns a 72% winning percentage there.

Good thing their fans will be loud for the Tigers. Those sissies will need all the help they can get. Especially non-football help, bc football wise, they're going to get smashed.

It could be. But, that's not the point of the thread. The point is, how could Bama fans possibly feel like Tiger Stadium is an advantage to LSU when we're so used to winning there. Bama has a much better record against LSU in Baton Rouge than in Tuscaloosa.

You'll see a timeout or two because of the fans and you will see a penalty or two because of the fans

Both are things that I've seen many times in night games at BDS among other large college stadiums.

I love all the Bama fans discounting Tiger Stadium AT NIGHT by pointing to their "winning" record in Tiger Stadium. We are talking about a night game here people, not the 2:30 PM time slot this game has been in before.

Try to find Alabama's record in Tiger Stadium at NIGHT. Get back to me.

Teague, I've got a piss bomb with your name on it if you're in BR this weekend. Are you intimidated yet?

Btw someone was on your account earlier.

So basically because Bama has won in the past (although they lost their last game in Baton Rouge) they will win in the future?

I don't think the team that Bama will face Saturday will bear any resemblance to the LSU teams they faced in the past

Well, I was there. The spit and the guy yelling in my ear for four hours felt more like a fact than a rumor. And I witnessed the obscenities and insults outside the stadium. ...that's EXACTLY the basis for my comment.

Of course, there's also your own campus paper that said pretty much the same thing. LINK But, no, it's probably all just rumors, like you say...

Ok. Thank you for admitting that Tiger Stadium is not an advantage. The team on the field is what will matter.

Oh I can't find a list of the series with the game times too. But, I've tried to research a little by looking at the most recent and goin backward. So far, I've gotten back to 1992(which doesn't count cuz it was a day game) but Alabama back to '92 is 4-2 in Baton Rouge at night.

OP: Will You Admit Tiger Stadium at Night Scares You?

Bama fans: No, we will not admit that Tiger Stadium scares us.

Especially, when it doesn't help the current argument in any way.
