While I don't think it will affect this game, I do know a lot of people are downplaying how a night game in Tiger Stadium can affect other teams. I just think Saban instills so much discipline in his players that we won't get the back to back false starts like against lesser opponents. They will be very composed in this game. We can only hope our players go out and play the game of their lives.

Just means he was a good coach and prepared his team to play well in hostile environments. Just because someone has success in Tiger Stadium doesn't make it any less loud or intimidating. It just means that coach or team was that good to neutralize opponents home field advantage.

Imho, it doesn't matter where we play LSU. Bama is going to get LSU's players best effort no matter where the game is played, barring that New Orleans game. That wasn't the norm. This game is a rivalry game in two regards. The players on both sides play above their potential, and winning this game can be considered a good season. I won't get on the smug "LSU isn't our rival boat. We better start considering this a rival game because the LSU players sure as shite see it that way.

Yea, that's kind of the point I was making. Good teams play well in crazy, loud stadiums because they are very well prepared for it.

No, it's because our stadium is known to be one of the loudest in the country, the players say they feed off of it, opponents say it a hard place to play, etc.
Why is it so hard to admit it can be tough on people to play here? I'm not saying it will hugely affect Bama, but it does have an affect on a lot of teams.

Yes many people have expressed worries about the lawless behavior so many LSU fans show toward the visiting fans.
It is a shame LSU fans are proud that families are afraid to go near the stadium in Baton Rouge.

I'm very interested to find out if that LSU-Auburn "earthquake" game can't be topped volume wise if something great happens for LSU. Like a very critical first down or a blocked punt. Winning field goal?.....

Actually, all this Mystique is actually just Mystique. The 12th man fires up the team supposedly and helps them defeat the opponent. But then if that really is true that team will never ever lose a game in their stadium. If you lose or almost lose in the other man' s house but are supposedly bullet- proof at home, your kidding yourself.

If a Bama fan posted "Are you scared of BDS?" Tiger fans would say all the same things. I would. No, I wouldn't be scared of the stadium. I'd be worried about playin the Tide. Both fanbases are anxious, and LSU hasn't played in 2 weeks. So these threads happen. I hate you Bama, but can not say I don't respect your team. Good luck Geaux Tigers!

Actually Coach Bryant was 10-1-1 in Baton Rouge; 1 win as UK's coach, 1 win as TAMU's coach, and 8 as Alabama's coach.
Coach Bryant only lost in Baton Rouge 1 time, 1969.
