2009 had the best defense since 92. McElroy was that great of a QB but it was a slugefest of a game. Some are saying 2015 but Clemson wins if not for Saban and his gimmick on- side kick.

2015 was one of the greatest college football games ever played. The 4th quarter was insane. Wins most exciting.

Redemption in 2011 was probably most satisfying.

1. 2009 because it was the first here under Saban and it had been a long time since our prior one.

2. 2017 was great because I thought we were going to get blown out. Then Tua in the second half happened and it was a fantastic come from behind won.

3. 2015 was an awesomely great game. A classic.

4. 2012 was great in watching Notre Dame get bitch slapped all over the field.

5. 2011 vs LSU: it was awesome seeing order restored right there in LSU’s backyard. It was a mauling.

But all were special and awesome. I can’t wait to add 2020 to our collection!

Your defense lost the game, not your offense.

Alabama’s offense had NINE straight 3 and outs at one point. They punted 12 times. You mentioned Hurts but he was 13/31 and had almost half his yards come off one busted coverage pass. The passing game was basically non existent.

You also mentioned Harris but Sark seemed to have forgotten he existed. He had 4 carries in the game. Instead he had Hurts air it out. This resulted in the offense having like 1 drive lasting longer then 2.5 minutes. How would that not wear any defense out going up against a Watson lead offense? They had barely any rest time.

Which resulted in the defense getting worn out. They had held Clemson to 7 points through 2.5 quarters. Clemson punted more times in that game then they had in 2 years, and had their 2nd lowest YPP of the season.

The defense also forced and recovered 2 fumbles inside Clemson territory and Alabama’s offense managed a combined -9 yards on those 2 ensuing drives.

Alabama’s offense couldn’t sustain a SINGLE drive during the game. Not even one drive. The defense held strong for most of the game but with no rest time they gave in. It’s basically impossible to shut down a Clemson offense with Watson forever without good clock control.

There are a few bad fans in every fan base, just like a few bad apples in every bunch. Not all IRISH fans are like that.

If I remember correctly, a Bama fan called into the Paul Finebaum show and wanted Saban fired after losing just one game. That's a delusional entitled fan. Hince a bad apple.

2017 Georgia is more memorable for me than 2015 Clemson. Don’t remember a single 2015 Clemson game

2017 Georgia must have been quite the rollercoaster ride for Dawg fans. They deserved it. Tough ending, though

2011 LSU too.

Better hold on to it cause history shows it'll be the last for a good while.

In the last 20 years: Alabama has 5 NCs.LSU has 3.

They played each other for one. Could be 4-4 each for this century.

And Bama needed a Mulligan for that NC, as LSU already beat them in their own house earlier that year.

I'll say this about Bama: nobody wins more national championships without winning their own division than the Gumps.

Biggest difference is: LSU beat Bama in 2011.

Georgia didn't in 2017

Or more accurately put another way, Alabama has 5 national championships in the last 8 years. While LSU has just recently dug themselves out of that debacle of a NC beatdown by the Crimson Tide in New Orleans.

Best keep digging boys, Bama is still paying property tax on Tiger Stadium.

Could be. Your mom could be your daddy if she had balls.

And lol at a 2 loss title making fun of not winning your own division. Anyone that loses to Arkansas and Kentucky should automatically be I eligible for any title.

2015 was the most fun
2017 had the most exciting finish

But 2012 will always have a special place in my heart for destroying Notre Dame.

Georgia. Being able to leave MBS and see those fans in utter ruin is a life event I’ll never forget.
