LSU has resorted to giving another conference a shot at the national title because they dont want to play Alabama again.
What if LSU had lost to Bama by 3 instead...and they were in Alabama's seat right now. I wonder how many of you fricks would be talking about how another team deserved a shot?

umm no.
There is no other team better than Alabama (other than LSU) and there is no other team more deserving than Alabama to play LSU for the Championship.
All this will be proven true once Alabama defeats the Tigers.

I personally do not think we deserve anything. I don't know if we will get a rematch and we are definitely not a lock for a rematch. I think that if we are ranked #2 after next week then that's all that needs to be said. I have also said that I don't think we will get a rematch. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong. If I'm right then I'm right, no whining, crying, etc. will come from me (Although I can't speak for the rest of the Bama fans).
I want us to celebrate our 11-1 regular season and a big win over Auburn for now and then let's get to work when we find out what bowl game we go to. If we are selected to play LSU in the title game then I hope we finish with a win (And in my opinion I think that the title will be split). If we are selected for another bowl then I hope we win. All in all, things are going to work out the way the voters vote. You can dispute or cry about it but it won't have any affect on the final score. I think at this point that all fans (Alabama included) need to just worry about their own team and hope that their team finishes the 2011-2012 season strong and with a win. Haters are gonna hate either way and that's something that you can't get around.
That's just my opinion.

Because there is no other team that has a llogical argument to deserving to play LSU. It's not so much about Bama deserving a shot. It's that nobody else deserves a shot.

i don't know that we deserve anything.
but, under the current system, if alabama is ranked #2 in the bcs at the end of the season, they will play in the ncg.

LSU fans just need to stop whining about a rematch, there is nothing we can do about it, and we beat them once we can do it again. It's not like the Nov.5th game was meaningless, we are playing in Atlanta on Saturday for the SEC Championship while Bama has to stay at home.
If we have to beat Bama twice to prove we're the better team, fine. Bring em on.

that's for sharing your homer feelings but they aren't logical for a National Championship.
Why did we play all these game all year long?

I think we deserve it because no other team took advantage of our loss. If OSU's only loss was to OU, then I could see them deserving it, however I just don't see how you can reward a loss to Iowa State. Stanford lost to a good team but they were blown out. Va Tech lost to a decent team in Clemson, but they were also blown out. Houston doesn't play a legit schedule.
Bama has dominated their competition and they took the number 1 team in the country to overtime. I think Bama deserves it because they're the second best team and every other team choked when they had a chance to step up. I don't think losing by 3 to LSU is a choke. I think that is playing a close game against a damn good football team.
