Some of these younger fans don't know what its like to lose a national title game.

I remember Nebraska skull dragging us back in 72. We lived through it and came back to win it all many times since.

So we'll be fine, after we throw up and break a few things.

Disappointed but appreciative for the opportunity to witness the run we been on since 2008

Disappointed, as any fan of any team would be. However, I'd eventually recognize that it would be motivation for next year's team who would subsequently win a national title.

Playing for all the marbles and losing it is going to suck. Really suck. But for Bama it'll probably suck less than it did for Notre Dame, Texas, LSU, and Clemson.

We are too close to the sun. There was a time when we hung our seasons on beating Florida in the swamp (99) or beating AU in their stadium (2001) . . point being, it's all relative. This won't last forever. This stretch is already one for the history books. It's all gravy from here and nowhere to go but down. This has to end somewhere.

Doesn't mean it won't suck when it happens.

Honestly, I would be disappointed by a loss, but I'd push it from my mind and move on; then I would focus on the 2017 Spring semester of college, with high hopes for next year's title game in the back of my mind.
