The culture was bad, and Rick’s didn’t care until it was clear that the culture would soon be changing. So, he went ring chasing to Bama, and when he got there it was a rude awakening, and, after an entire Spring and off-season, he still hasn’t assimilated. That should tell you all you need to know about this situation.
As far as Gilbert is concerned, I hope he gets better. Mental illness is much different than just being irresponsible and uncoachable. With the right supports in place, and ongoing treatment, Gilbert could be ok, and I hope he is.

That guy doesn't know what he's saying. Ricks was transferring no matter who the new coach was. I think he transferred because he wants the easiest route to a natty. He hopped on the LSU train when we were dominating, then moved on to the most dominant team in college football.

Also, really liked O. He met O when he was kid at a USC camp or something. He was at LSU to play for O more than he was to play for LSU.
Same with Gilbert and Joe Brady.
