3/4. Kind of hard to figure out what Saban's trying to accomplish there, especially if you've got Charlie Strong sitting on his arse in the office.

Are you smoking crack? He was the guy making up false rumors last year saying Golding was going to get fired.

I called him out and pointed out how full of shite he was, and got banned for it.

He was the main person who fueled all the Golding hate. Blaming him and claiming the defense performed badly because he was goofy and lazy.

frick that lying piece of shite. All he did was create a cult over there and you idiots eat what he says up like it's straight from the mouth of Jesus.

Anyone who disagrees with him gets banned. So you have a big dumbass echo chamber over there.

Again Saban isn’t infallible. He’s made mistakes. He’s been out coached in some games. It happens. Your whole premise is based around that. You’re probably the kind of guy who thinks you can’t ever criticize a professional if you’re not one.

quote:

No. I think Saban will find the problem and fix it. The fact he gave Golding a raise while all you dumbfricks were screaming for him to be fired should tell any rational person what's up.

That could also mean Saban still had confidence he could turn it around. Gave him a pass last year for injuries. He probably also didn’t want another assistant coach in so many short years.

There have been players that talked about how complicated Alabama’s defensive scheme is. Terral Lewis and another player brought that up as an issue unprompted in their draft interviews last year. These overly complex defenses are just too much these days.
quote:

But no, he must be goofy, lazy and the big problem because that fake arse insider said it was so. Because that's the Saban we all know, a guy who keeps people like that around.

Do you have secretly have crush on Boz? Is that what it is? You keep bringing him up but there are plenty of Alabama fans outside this site that despise Golding too.

He has been bad. In fact, I’d bet 100 bucks he wasn’t the one calling plays last night against UGA. This will be his final season on our staff.

And here you go making assumptions to make yourself feel better.

It's Saban's system. He does not hire people to come in and install their system. He hires people to run his system.

If he says it's not the play calling, it's the execution that is the issue, and I see guys in the backfield able to make a play for a loss, only to not tackle the guy who then runs for 10 yards, it makes sense to me. I see that the correct play was called and it wasn't executed correctly.

I'm not aware of any play someone can call where setting the edge is not part of what someone should do. And while they have been better in that aspect this year, I still saw players taking bad angles and not setting the edge against Ole Miss.

So you are damn right I'm going to take the word of Saban over a bunch of random message board idiots who melt over ever single mistake.

So blame Saban. He is the one who decides that, not Golding. Personally, I see nothing wrong with the schemes overall, and the execution problems are compounded from misses in recruiting, injuries and a lack of practice time due to Covid.

The Golding hate was mostly fueled by him last year after the Auburn game when he started making up shite like saying he was goofy and lazy. I called him out on it and got banned. As if Saban was going to keep someone like that on his staff. How stupid do you have to believe to not only believe that, but then to also try to spread it off as rumor.

I will always take the chance to expose that fake arse thin skinned attention whore.

Interesting. What did you see last night that you thought was different in the play calling?

Are there certain plays called that make players tackle instead of missing them?

Did Golding call the one play where they ran the ball up the middle and Moses just let him go right behind him because he didn't even know the guy had the ball?

And then someone else called the other plays?

Who do you think was calling them instead?

You got banned because you don't consider other people's viewpoint. All you do is call names instead of just making your point. Im not even sure why you are calling other Bama fans names. It's almost if you are taking this stuff personally.

The reality of it is that nothing any of us say here matters to the program. Saban ain't gonna get rid of Golding until he sees fit. And Bama ain't getting rid of Saban until he's ready to go.

Well that's bullshite. That prevatt guy was way worse than I could even think of being, but he kissed Boz's arse while I pointed out Boz was a fake insider. I got banned, he didn't. Boz made an entire thread about "cleaning house", which in the end was all just me getting banned.

I'm glad I don't post over there anymore, hardly the only Alabama place around here. But frick Boz, his thin skin and his fake insider claims.

Also, I was the one who got called names all the time. I just didn't cry about it. Unless you count the time I got banned for saying SoG was stupid about something, even though I was really banned for calling out Boz as SoG didn't give a shite about what I said.

Oh yeah, that's right, it was "senior members".

He didn't like what I said, that I dared to defend Golding, that I dared to hold him to what he said, that I dared to point out what he said was obvious bullshite(how the frick could anyone believe Saban would keep a lazy and goofy DC who wasn't putting in the work?).

And all you dumbfricks cheered him on because you just wanted your echo chamber. You got your safe space, you left it and posted here on the rant, suck my dick.

This I agree with. But I would also like to point out that Saban tells you guys every single week you are wrong about Golding.

Even if Saban wanted him gone, he wouldn't say it in the press conference most likely. He's not going to admit it was a bad hire. I don't have a position on it other than whatever the issue is it needs to be fixed.

I think Prevatts banned now as well.

There was definitely a change in the second half. One of which you mentioned, getting our starting safety back. Of course a lot of us wonder what else happened,if anything, that changed how the d played in the second half. Some of us are wondering if someone else took over play calling.

Maybe you remember a second half defensive adjustment like what occurred yesterday but I don't. I'm probably forgetting a game.

Also did you notice Saban did call timeouts when needed because the defense lined up wrong or because of a mismatch? He didn't do that in the first but did in the second half.

No doubt we need to get things fixed. We have looked very soft this year, especially in the middle. I don't know what is up with Moses, but he's not playing up to what he was supposed to be. Wright has been a liability, but I didn't see him messing up much last night.

We made good 2nd half adjustments against LSU last year also that went unnoticed. We shut LSU out the 3rd quarter.

But I don't know about Saban. He may not say something, but he will do something. Especially over the off season.

I'm just not seeing where play calling is the real issue. When I watched the Ole Miss game, I saw play after play where guys should have made a tackle for a loss and missed the tackle. To me that says right play called, poor execution.

Not to say I've never see a questionable call, but that's with any DC. 3 man rushes on 3rd down personally drive me crazy.
