People who blame the DC because the defense isn't performing well have no clue what is at fault, they just blame the top guy.

Meanwhile, all you dumbasses think you know better than Saban, and none of you seem to have the first clue at realizing this is Saban's defense and this is Saban's scheme.

It should be clear to everyone that the play calling is not the problem. And not just because Nick Saban straight up tells you every damn week it's not. The problem has been fundamentals.

So yeah, you guys keep on harping on stupid shite while the GOAT coach continues to keep the guy and give him raises.

Because that Saban guy is surely dumber than you are.

Idiots. So glad I got banned from that shitty forum where the nazi forum mod dictates the narratives.

He has taken plethora of talent consisting of the best 4 and 5 stars across the nation playing undisciplined and unprepared with poor technique.

His "effect" is so daunting we have stupid fans who think Alabama has a talent issue and hasn't recruited well enough.

A broken clock is right twice a day; just because UGA's OC was too stupid to continue running the ball right up the middle for 6 to 7 yards a carry and decided to put the ball in Stetson's hand doesn't mean Golding all of a sudden became a genius.

I don't think anyone thinks this. But, CNS has shown to be loyal to a fault. I'm guessing Golding is a football savant that can talk football on par with Saban, which is why he is still there. His problem is more likely translating theory into practice in a manner the players can execute.

It's like a brilliant academic that makes a poor practitioner and worse teacher.

This is the correct answer. You being knowledgeable doesn’t mean you’re a great coach. If the players can’t grasp or perform what you are teaching it’s your job to find a way to get them to perform. That’s the difference in a teacher and a coach.

Even more evidence that he's trash. The LBers have regressed every year he's been here. Harris has potential to be a great here, but he's so poorly coached and constantly put in tough positions to excel. Having him lined up against a RB last night would be one of the dumbest things we've ever seen, had we not seen Golding put Shane Lee in the same position last season.

He's just a bad coach.

Yeah, like the time he fired Kiffin less than a week before the NC game.

That's why all that fake shite Crimson Boz posted about him turned out to be false. You guys don't have a clue what is called, who is response for what or what is actually going wrong with a play.

How dumb do you have to be to actually believe Saban is going to keep around a guy who isn't performing to his expectations?

A lot of the criticism directed at him is misplaced (although he deserves a good bit).

It's not play calls or schemes that get your DL blown off the ball 3-4 yards every play. I'm not sure Tom Landry or Bill Belichik can scheme or plan around as poor of a collection of talent or desire up front as Alabama has right now.

I want fingers pointed at this vaunted S&C program we have now. All I have read about is how revolutionary and wonderful it is. All I have actually seen is our DL get absolutely manhandled in every single game.

The RB play was SABAN fricking up. He should have called a timeout when he saw the match up, he didn't.

It was man coverage that was called and why the LB got stuck out there. It was called BEFORE the guy went out wide.

and who teaches, or not as the case may be, those fundamentals?

You have elite players that every major program recruited, including Nick Saban. I seriously doubt all those coaches misjudged this many players.

So if they haven't been developed, whose fault is it? If they don't know their assignments whose fault is it? If they can't be aggressive because they are so confused whose fault is it? If they can't tackle, whose fault is it?

We’ve had players that have gotten worse by the year. That’s on coaching

And who is responsible for teaching those fundamentals?

The entire defensive staff teaches it.

Usually in spring ball. Which we did not have this year. And we especially needed it after the injuries and losses from last year.

And you know, that stuff is also limited by the NCAA.

The offenses can practice all summer against air. The defense can not.

Christian Harris and Dylan Moses.

Mack Wilson too. Mack looked much better in 2017 and then as an NFL rookie then he did in 2018.

You’ve always been a Golding apologist. Except you can’t trash Mac and that offense now.

Last year we were playing guys who shouldn't have been out there at all, but were forced out there due to injuries.

This year I would say it's just bad fundamentals. But we saw in the 2nd half of that game what the defense is capable of if they just make the tackles and play sound fundamental football.

Mack Wilson did better when he wasn't the guy being forced to call everything. Moses has regressed physically, probably due to the injury that kept him out all of last year.

Don't even know what the frick you are talking about in regards to Harris, who has only been on campus for little over a year and a half.
