Yeah there is a lot of bull on the Alabama board. To be fair though I heard Saban was coaching on there Thursday night.

Saban won’t fire him in the middle of the year but he will be gone after the season.

There were former players calling out the first half defensive play calling. It was embarrassing.

This is the correct answer. You being knowledgeable doesn’t mean you’re a great coach. If the players can’t grasp or perform what you are teaching it’s your job to find a way to get them to perform. That’s the difference in a teacher and a coach.
I would love to sit down with a major college coach and have them explain to me how they teach their schemes to players. Not too many 4-5 star players are geniuses and the best ones will be gone in three years. There’s no way for them to come anywhere close to handling the A-Z scheme knowledge of someone like Saban.

The reason Kirby abandoned the run was because it stopped working.

want fingers pointed at this vaunted S&C program we have now. All I have read about is how revolutionary and wonderful it is. All I have actually seen is our DL get absolutely manhandled in every single game.
TBF, our D line was getting pushed before our new S&C guys arrived... we as fans, correctly or incorrectly, blamed much of it on the injury situation to begin last season.

Is it just the play where they had the bad matchup that gave up the TD? Or other than that?
I don't know why Saban didn't call a timeout on that play. I'm no expert, but it seemed to me like they recognized man coverage and put the guy out there specifically to do that.
It's the same thing we did to Florida with Drake a few years ago.

We've been doing well on the injury front this year which has been nice.
