I don't think so.

There are very few teams that can match up with Michigan, and a LOT of size down low is a requirement. Bama and most other teams don't have that.

I have thought UM was going to win it all since I watched them play a few games back in Dec/Jan.

Arizona and maybe Duke are the only real threats to them IMHO.

We go to the Sweet 16, with or without him. We lose to Michigan, with or without him. He seems like a good young man but I feel like he should face the consequences of his actions.

Aden wouldn’t have made much of difference maybe slightly closer game. Bama lost that game in the preseason with a whiff on two bigs in the transfer portal and the freshmen big ruled out with a heart issue. This was a nightmare matchup for Bama.

Why was he suspended for some weed?

It’s not like he killed someone

He would have made a difference. Whether enough to pull the upset. Who knows?

They really had Michigan trying to run and gun with them in the first half. Alabama is probably a favorite if the whole game plays out like that. Who knows if that's the same with Holloway?

He definitely would have helped in the 2nd half. Michigan cranked up traps / double teams on Philon and Bama didn't have consistent threat to beat his man off the dribble and find open shooters. That's exactly what Holloway provides.

Aden would have made no difference.

He does not play good defense. He would be a liability.

He would have taken shots away from Philon.

He has never shown that he is a winner. The lose by more if he plays.

Holloway shot 48% from the field this season and 43% from three point land. It was a gut punch. Definitely needed him. Absolutely dumb he threw it all away when he was already making NIL money.

There is virtually no scenario where Bama beats Michigan when they’re shooting almost 50% from deep.

Theres virtually no scenario in which Bama beats Michigan when 5 rotation guys combine for 7 points.

Bama was going to need a good to great shooting night, an avg to bad shooting night from Michigan and a couple contributors to have a good night and none of those things happened.

Michigan is a tournament favorite for a reason and it isn’t because Aden Holloway is a criminal.

Disappointed in his decisions for sure.

I don’t think he would have changed the outcome last night. I’ve felt since about January that our ceiling was S16, especially if we ran up against Michigan or Zona.

Think my biggest disappointment with the season is the UGA and Ole Miss losses. 3-seed was there for the taking, and I think we would have had a decent chance at an elite 8 as a 3.

Feel great about where we are as a program overall. Oats has proven to be consistent, and I feel comfortable that he will get the most out of his teams pretty consistently.
