I was reading an article on Brandon Harris and saw this on the side. Scarbrough held out with injury.

I didn't realize this guy had such an extensive injury history. Are y'all not concerned about this?

quote:

The former five-star recruit tore his ACL during spring practice last year. Injuries also riddled him throughout his high school career, as he sustained a broken ankle his freshman year, followed by a torn ACL is sophomore year and a high ankle sprain his junior season.

ETA: My bad, hit enter too quickly.

I understand your argument, but I'm just not really sure I can readily agree with that.

High ankle sprain seems dumb to included with torn ligaments and broken bones.

Depends on the severity of the sprain.

Not really. If he gets hurt, we'll just use a different 5* RB.

I'm very concerned. Scar can't seem to stay healthy and Harris looked awful last year. It would not shock me at all if the freshman from NC ends up starting several games.

He supposedly wanted to come to Ole Miss badly, but we rescinded his scholarship offer after doing thorough research into his health history.

No he fricking didn't. So tired of Ole Miss posters saying this stupid shite. No one wants to go to Oxford unless they're handsomely paid.

Scarbrough is from Tuscaloosa, committed to Bama very early on. Transferred to IMG, then UF made a late push but Bama held on.

Don't be this dumb. There is no point in it. Ole Miss did not turn down a commitment from a 5 star HB.

Sprain is another word for a stretched or torn ligament, bro.

Injuries are a definitely a concern with this kid. He has a huge upside but the reality is that he just doesn't have the durability of an Ingram/Lacy/Henry.

My guess is no one ends up with 25 carries in a game this year and we see more of a true rotation with him and Harris.

The two true freshmen Emmons and Jacobs will fight it out for the 3rd spot and whoever figures out how to pickup a blitz wins the job.

All of them better take advantage of opportunities this year though because if Najee Harris signs that kid is next level and will be hunting for the lead spot from day one.

I have a good friend that went to Bama and is one of the student coaches, Apparently Emmons has looked great. He said he's likely going to pass Harris. Same dude told me last year that Minkah Fitzpatrick was the best DB y'all had and I laughed at him.

You paid him just to visit Oxford, he was never interested in Ole Miss

I honestly haven't heard a thing and Saban forbids any personnel to speak about injuries unless it's him. He hasn't said a word so anything you hear right now would be 100 percent speculation. I know he said a "ding" but I wouldn't label that an injury just yet. This point of camp there's a lot of dings. That's why the last couple weeks coaches dial back on full contact.
