What did it feel like to watch 7 different WRs make plays against that Bama defense that we heard so much about in the summer??? How did it feel to watch St. Pierre look like a slippery pig in the open field after catching the ball??? And to watch Benton win those 2 jump balls for touchdowns????

What was it like watching McElroy get knocked out of the game by the Bull in the first half and then watching a freshman scramble for his life for the rest of the game?? How did that feel???

How does it feel to have a 4 loss regular season after feeling so invincible back in the spring when you had your 2nd straight recruiting national championship? FUUUUCKKK, how does that FEEL?????

How does it feel now that it looks like AU will probably land in the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day while you guys appear to be headed to the Peach Bowl?? Does it make you nauseous or just pissed that Auburn - fricking AUBURN – during a “rebuilding” year somehow had a better season than you did amidst such different expectations???

How did it feel when you heard Saban after the game talk about players needing to “step up” in big games and how there is still work to be done? How does that FEEL??????

FWIW, great post. I love the confidence, and see absolutely no reason why Auburn shouldn't puff out their chests a bit. I think Auburn and Bama will have the same record going into the Iron Bowl and will be playing for bowl position. I've been saying for a while that Auburn will have a nice bounce back season and Bama is going to have a significant dropoff. You'll see how valuable JPW was last year just like we found out how crucial Flynn was in 07. Can't forget how important experience is at QB.


Of course, I think your Capital One Bowl prediction is a little pie in the sky, but hey, you were on a roll.
