I haven't heard of either of them using their vehicle to trap this woman and if that is true then they absolutely deserve to get prosecuted but there were numerous surveillance cameras on the scene so if they haven't been prosecuted by now then I will wait to reserve my judgement on them until further evidence is revealed.
However, it is most definitely not a good look overall and that is my unbiased view on the whole situation.

That " if not but for..,." Slope gets steep and slippery really fast. I'm all for the guilty to receive their sentence(s) regardless of their contribution to a sports team. But I also don't think hindsight bad decisions ( but not illegal) need to be hooked to illegal ones. Many people were shot and killed in the last days/weeks. The reason people here care about the victim in this case is because of some alleged involvement of a well-known player on an opposing team. This is all about sports...as usual.

Yes, people more well known by the general public who are involved in crimes will typically get more news coverage than the average Joe. That’s true across the board, whether it be an athlete, musician, actor, etc. So what’s your point?

My point is that the people who feign caring about the victim...really don't. What they care about is getting to use this on a sports forum to disparage an opposing program. I would even suggest they are glad this happened so they have this to use against an opposing program.

You need to take a break, but I’ll counter with the only reason you care about this is because it makes your team look bad. You don’t really care about Miller’s culpability either. You just care whether he keeps playing. Fair?
But no, you’re wrong. I do care when innocent people get murdered. It’s not my fault we don’t get better coverage of lesser known cases. I don’t control the news cycle.

We don’t get live coverage of the preliminary hearings for most shooting deaths. I’m from Memphis. We have a lot of them. Local news stories about murders typically are a paragraph without much in the way of information. And after the initial report, they’re barely mentioned again, if at all. The cases that do get coverage, I do pay attention to.

I let the police determine Miller's culpability since they have the facts. I haven't mentioned the case or defended Miller, unlike others.

It sucks when a player you really like on your team turns out to be a scumbag. I had a Darren Sharper jersey after the 09 Saints season...needless to say I had to dispose of that.
Good on you for admitting someone on a team you root for is a scumbag (if said allegations are indeed true), and it's not easy when rival fanbases are attacking you and your fellow fans personally as if you being a fan of the team means you condone such things.
These kind of things aren't really a thing people should use fandom to troll about or defend such things.
