If a LSU fan is drunk it’s best to avoid them. I’ve come to learn very very few can actually hold their liquor

Never had a problem with lsu fans other than the in your face tiger bait, car vandalism and s few other minor things.

There were plenty of threads threatening Bama Fans with violence this year. More than usual.

This guy was beaten to death while wearing his Alabama colors after one of the most intensely heated games. The home team "LSU" openly claimed they've been cheated and conspired against.

as previously noted, the two that sucker punched and beat the Alabama fan may have been among those that, on this board last week, threatened violence.

A lot of people cant even enjoy going to away games and supporting their team colors because you never know what the drunks will do to you. But they only do it with a crowd. Never alone. This whole this is sad.

Reading this thread makes me cringe. This is like CNN reporting. Wasn't this guy a Louisiana resident. You think this was his first time out at a bar celebrating an Alabama win over LSU. Police have said this had nothing to do about the game. Why Alabama want this SO BAD to be a murder over a football game is beyond me. Holy frick people. What happen was tragic, and these guys deserve what they have coming to them, but to not do your own research, and realize this was NOT about football, is idiotic.

i'm from Ponchatoula. This had nothing to do with the game. The dude and his relative were drunk. Started shite (which he was known to do) with the wrong guy. He spit in his face and got knocked out; hit his head. There was no "beat to death" and nothing to do with football.

People want to make a it a beat to death over football game. They will downvote any facts. Two La residents get in a fight, one hits his head on the floor and goes to hospital.

“Wait, the guy who got beat-up roots for Bama? I don’t need facts, this was over the football game.”

Except it was in the article that the fight started over the football game. The sheriff is the one that made that comment. Just stop.

Narrative First.
Truth later. Maybe. Or maybe not.

The interesting thing is why it is so damn IMPORTANT to believe that a Tiger killed a Gump over football allegiance. What psychological itch is this scratching for Gumps that they want to believe this so much? It's very dark and creepy.

Not reading 7 pages, but hopefully at this point someone gas explained this was in no way shape or form fan related.

ETA: wait until the real story comes out on this one. Those making these claims will look even more foolish.

Because there are often murders after bama games involving losses, but usually it's bama on bama killing because someone wasn't upset enough.

This guy was not going to an "away game". He lived in Ponchatoula. And the police chief retracted his original statement and said that it was not about the football game.

Probably under pressure to do so. Let's face it--your fan base is unhinged. We're talking European Soccer unhinged. You glimpsed glory and forgot that was not your usual place. After claiming to be elite and on par, you're only just now coming to the realization that you are what you always were. And LLLLLLLLSU has to watch the one that got away dance with a prettier girl.

If the colors were reversed you know you'd change the narrative.
