It has gotten to counter-trolling levels now. LSU baws are just running with it. This whole thing is just pathetic. I have seen five threads on it now. Got one going on the OT as well.

Quick glance shows the guy who died was a big ole baw. And the story is he was known to drink and brawl. Bad, bad combinations. I am guessing from what you have posted he pulled for both the Tigers and Tide depending upon how things were going at the time. Still sad thing to see.

The entire basis for claiming the one guy was a Bama fan was a pic of his hat collection which included a Bama cap. His actual timeline had pro-LSU and anti-Bama posts. I don't think there's any question that the second guy is an LSU fan.
I'm waiting for details before I assign any blame but trying to clear up some of these false rumors that have been getting passed around.

My dad got sucker punched in bar in bama one time by guy. He just avoided getting clocked with help of guy sitting next to him. Turns out the guy that had been sitting in the bar stool before my dad had been mericilessly fricking with this guy. He left the bar, and then came back in with brass knuckles and didn’t realize the guy that had been ducking with him left and my dad was sitting there. My dad was going to beat the duck out of him before the guy that saved my dad from getting clocked bad ( had cut over his eye) told him whole story.

This... Dude #2 seemed to possibly be a more casual/social LSU fan, but there really isn't a basis for saying that either of them were also Bama fans... The whole damn thing has gotten silly on here with both of the fan bases trying to point fingers and figure out a way to not claim them or blame the "other side"... They were 2 dipshit fricks who made a bad decision and killed a guy. Other than one poster here, it doesn't appear to be a situation that he specifically brought on himself, rather was sucker punched. I'm with you... let more details come out... maybe dude bro really did egg something on. At this point, no one seems to know much more than he got hit hard by dude bro #1, hit the floor, and then got hit some more by dude bro #2... Did not survive. Perhaps the lesson is avoid shitty dive bars in Louisiana... or just in general? Also, keep your head on a swivel.

I work with someone who knows the perps. It had nothing to do with Bama/LSU. It had to do with a female. The local sheriff even confirmed.
