Kiffin would go to Bama. It is one of the jobs he would leave LSU for

To be fair, that thread was started immediately after Saban retired.

Idk I just find it hard to believe that one guy is some untouchable savant after Saban. I think it's more likely that Indiana has a lot of older senior dudes that are playing incredibly fast & instinctually because they've been in the same system for 4+ years. That's just tough to beat no matter who you are.
Think about tennis & guys who just hit everything back at you. Even if it's weak, they're so consistent that you end up beating yourself. I think that's what Indiana is doing and Bama was undisciplined enough that they could really trap them

No, man, what we’re witnessing is 100% coaching. And there aren’t many elite ones. Kirby and Cignetti. That’s the list.
Hilarious the bidding war going on for a guy like Kiffin. If that isn’t proof of the dearth of elite coaching talent right now I don’t know what is.
Anyway, at least Cignetti is old AF.

I dont know what kiffin would do honestly. His history is questionable and I think the reason he stayed at Ole Mrs that long is because he never had a better offer from a better school until this year. I would hope he realizes what he could achieve at lsu but that doesn’t mean he will. In saying that I’ll choose to believe he will stay and see what he can build back. But not a single one of us know what will happen until it happens.

It’s easier to win at LSU. Without Saban, Alabama would still be in the stone ages, where they’re heading now
And, I might add, Saban poached Louisiana talent. He'd already established relationships with Louisiana high school coaches while at LSU. That's how Saban continued to win. DeBore is out of his league down south. I mean, when was the last time an LSU coach wanted to poach Alabama talent year after year? Louisiana football talent is way better.
