Bama barely beat a team with an anemic offense
You know as well as everyone that the LSU team we played, was not the same as everyone else did. Mettenberger and that offense played lights out. Go look at the previous games Saban coached against a dual threat QB. Tebow, Cam, and Denard didn't run on us at all. Saban and Smart will force him to stay in the pocket and beat us with his arm and he won't be as fortunate as Mett, there will be very little blitzing so JFF will have to deal with both our Safeties in coverage.
Easily, easily the best post in this thread.
Bama D is too fast for a running QB style of offense.

Aggies are crazy. They could have a .500 season and they still talk about their team like they're about to play for a championship.

We're pretending intangibles don't exist today for the purpose of trolling. Got it.

It may have been said earlier in this thread, but where does A&M get off? You guys lost to both LSU and UF at home and both teams have an "anemic" offense.
Alabama played LSU in Baton Rouge. LSU came out swinging. I love how the story is "Alabama looking weak" more so than "LSU looking good".
I guess no one sticks to their word anymore. Despite almost losing the game Saturday, Alabama still held off a LSU team that pulled out all the stops to win.
Continue to buy into the whole "we beat ______ more than _____ did so therefore we will beat ________'s arse". It is widely believed that Miss St's 7-0 record going into Tuscaloosa was a product of the weak teams they played beforehand.

LSU's offense can only be labeled "anemic" if Mett doesn't show up like he did this weekend.
With Mett in form, LSU won't be held to under 500 yds for the rest of the year.

He'll have his shot this weekend to show that it wasn't a fluke.

And how can you not say that LSU gave Sumlin the blueprint for beating Bammer?
Because Sumlin doesn't have the LSU defense. Next question!

Your defense is garbage and I have a friend who starts on your D. I'll say it again your D is garbage. Alabama will play bully Balkans just run the ball and keep the ball away from you. You lose they win LSU still looks good at the end of the day.
