LSU is 10-11 vs Alabama since 2000
thanks to Nick Saban. He was 1-4 vs Alabama, which was at the was crippled by ncaa sanctions and Mike Shula.
In the 14 years Saban has been at Alabama, LSU has won 4 times.
Surprised you didn't know this.

how many titles did bama win between Bear and nicky?
Alabama didn't go 47 years between national title teams as LSU did between the segregated team in the 1950's and Saban's 2003 team.
Alabama went 13 years between Bryant's 1979 national title winners and Gene Stallings 1992 champions, then 17 years to Saban's 2009 team. A far cry from the 47 years for LSU.

I think we can all thank Saban for bringing us both back from the dead and away from coaches like Hallman, DuBose, Gerry D and Shula.

Cornered him with his own dumbness!
Saban went from the NFL to Mich state to LSU to Miami and then to his ultimate job.... Bama.
So, step... step.... step (LSU).... step.... Ultimate Job (Bama)!

Agreed. As usual, Georgie brings in the rationale.

Yep Saban would've done great at Bama regardless, but having the one annual opponent that can usually come close to matching your talent level be coached by an ignoramus of the first rate was a yuuge advantage; I seriously doubt if Piles can tie his shoes on his own. Trying to fit running quarterbacks into a 1970s Big Ten I-Formation offense is retarded under normal circumstances, but Less was doing it at LSU ffs. A decent HS coach could've gotten better results with all that talent

You mean a bridge? What is a stepping stone for a regular sized man, is a bridge for a midget.
