If Yeldon doesn't fumble and Nuss didn't Nuss it up inside the six Bama breaks this one open and wins by two scores.

This is what no Ag wants to admit. Bama corralled JFF and aTm was out scored 24-9 in 3 quarters of play.

If A&M doesn't miss it's fgs Bama isn't even in position to do those things you're talking about. A&M still out scored Bama in the 4th qrt with a missed fg and missed PAT. Bama was lucky to have a chance to win.

Yep, nothing but luck, the REC, and the refs driving this bus. Oh, and scheduling, too. Don't forget scheduling.

Aggie won because we spotted them 20 easy points in the 1Q and then proceeded to give them three critical turnovers. Very uncharacteristic of Bama. It won't happen again this September.

I said it was a great game and I gave Bama some major props. In my opinion a field goal goes in and its sealed.

Also - the after the 1st quarter A&M was in checked is crap. It was a great game. A&M won the 4th. Last I check that is a biggie.

I would take this win over Bama and easily trade a conference Championship. SWC Championship. Come on. The Big 12 one was nice but had no larger role.

This win placed A&M at #5 in the nation final poll. Highest we have ever attained. It won JFF a Heisman with led to 1 trillion dollars in marketing $$. Was a win while A&M is in National limelight.

A win at #1 defending champion. Having to score TD in 4th - and a goal line stand. Great game for lore.

Every year isn't a MNC. Great stories are created in college football in games not for MNC. But this one was. Bama was playing for MNC. A&M playing for A&M and shock the world.

Launched the A&M brand, the recruiting - #1 QB in Nation from West Coast (never happened before). Helped Cement Texas as SEC country as Texas struggles to get games vs. Kansas televised.

Helped launch new stadium. Nation thinking we would fail.

Launched into Cotton Bowl and pulled Bob Stoops Pants down in a match vs. Big 12's best. Now crushing OU in recruiting.

Yes - That was A&M's biggest win in history.

The Bama win was monumentally important as we got a marquee win over an SEC power in our initial season. It shut up just about everyone who was counting us as a dead program walking.

I hear you. Just wild, the different perspectives. You guys are building something nice. I imagine it's a great time to be a fan. I am a huge Sumlin fan. Guy has the IT factor. It will be nice to see him in Crimson once Nick hangs it up.

So after being up 20-0

A&M was heavily out scored.

Congrats on catching a team overlooking an incredible improviser. Such a great improv guy that his own coaches don't know what he will do next.

Your tears will be delicious, and 3rd in the West.

Yes Bama gets beat. Credit A&M we had our chances and they got it done we didn't.

Just like LSU couldn't hold on in Tiger Stadium vs Bama and spit the bit.

So much for no Bama fan saying we don't get beat.

But since Saban took over it doesn't happen much.

Juice - good post. I think that is where alot of people on this site are confused because they make fun by saying you didn't do that much - but we readily acknowledge this is our biggest win ever and it is our highest National Ranking.

This is the first time Aggies can actually feel that a couple plays go our way and we coulda been in the Natty. LSU and Bama either wins the Natty or feels that gross feeling that a couple of plays and you were there. See LSU last year and 2011 bizarre BCS bid. and 2012 Bama comeback.

So to us feeling we were that close is HUGE. We love it. People laugh and say 5th. We are like whatever - we will take it as our best year ever.

Agree. A&M wins the SEC this year. Anybody who rewatches that game would agree. JFF is too good and Alabama is not built to stop him. Saban hasn't recruited to stop that offense.

Bama will not come out of College Station with a W and frankly I don't think it will be that close.

LSU beats A&M but the schedule will not allow us to overcome it.

Seriously - bama yall should rewatch the game. The announcer freezes the screen on the first pic and said the guy was baiting AJ by showing 2 safetys pre snap then the guy jumped it and hit as he was catching it. They actually say that was a D Coor. intercepting right there. Then they show AJ explaining just that.

The final pick was also coached play to slide between pick.

There should have been another one as AJ threw up a lob to A&M but his foot was out. The turnovers were forced. Not given.

Just watch it again.

Now this year. Everything is out the window. We dont know what we have on D. Buch of top DL coming in and D should be SEC ready by 2014 or 2015. But can they help this year? I dont know. If they can't it could be ugly. But I expect JFF to be JFF. After watching it again I am stunned all over about his speed and playmaking.

This is what I said.

We weren't lucky to be close, and A&M wasn't lucky to win. It was just a good game.

Meaning, They won. We lost. It was a good game. That's it.

Apparently, you can't even read comments from Bama fans with any sense of objectivity.
