My two biggest concerns are CEH jumpcutting outside and breaking contain and LSU throwing to backs/tight ends/etc against our linebackers.
Like I said above, I know LSU is going to make throws and get yards to receivers, but I think we can "contain" that to an extent. The other parts make me nervous.

You have the worst defense in the top 4.
Ohio State and Clemson would embarrass you.
Don’t even try to compare one bad game to a seasons worth of awful defensive play.
You gave up 38 to Vandy!!

Everybody is focusing on WRs vs DBs for both teams, but the “game within the game” is CEH / moss vs front 7. Both teams will get yards and chunk plays, but those guys will be huge in 3rd down / redzone

You will get most of your 3rd downs regardless, that's just how we roll.

Digs has a 105-yard fumble recovery for a TD and about a 90-yard pick six in his last two games. Former WR turned CB. Ball hawk and speed. Projected potential 1st round pick. He’s pretty good.

Congrats on padding defensive stats against the sisters of the poor lol

Yea, because NW St, Ga Southern, Vandy, Texas, and Mississippi St are such powerhouses.

Oh yea, I forgot about the juggernaut Utah State.
So that’s 75% of your schedule to date, and your pass defense has managed to get itself ranked 60th. That speaks volumes about your soft arse defense.

The secondary is really solid and is benefitting greatly from solid pressure coming from Lewis, Jennings and our 3rd DL pass rushers Christian Barmore.
Keep in mind when we were shredded by Clemson last year we didn’t have Diggs, our AA safety was 80% and we were without Lewis and Jennings which gave CU all day to go vertical. Savion Smith was simply non functional, but we had no one else at that point to run out there and we paid for it all night.
The weakness that will be exploited routinely will be if you can force our ILB group to have to cover in space. Harris gets confused and Lee lacks speed to cover in space. You could make a living on wheel routes and TE crossers if you have any speed at that position.

Who have y’all played? Texas isn’t a joke, they’re not as good as people expected. Auburn and Florida are legit. So you’re saying 75% of your schedule is garbage. The best team y’all play all regular season long in A&M is prob our 5th or 6th tuffest game. And when you’re beating teams down u tend to let up and give up some yards and points. Not saying we’re a great defense but better then 60th. Plus u also come on hear saying how maybe we should worry about our secondary when someone asks about Bama’s, a team we’re about to play. So we can’t check out and get info on other teams? Is that what you’re saying? How is the life of a troll, like are u still a Virgin, do u pay rent to your parents for living in the basement? Or do u promise them you’ll pay them back when u make it as a Fortnight gamer. Why would u troll, it’s weird man. There’s better stuff to do

Did you watch the NCG? Smith got fricking abused in that game so bad he had to fake an injury to stop the embarrassment. Every big play Clemson had was because of him. He was basically forced by Saban to declare for the draft

I read that this area is a strength of Bama ...and it probably is, and no secondary can shutdown multiple top flight WRs and QB. So i expect LSU to get yardage. My concern is that there have been a play or two a game where they (secondary) have benefitted from a poorly thrown ball on busted coverage. UT had Jennings 5 yds clear of anyone for a TD but their QB overthrew by 5 yds. Motion in the backfield seems to allow the TE to be wide open. This seems to usually fall on Mayden or Carter...but Burrow will not miss these throws. In short...strength ..yes especially for surtain diggs mckinney but ib think mayden and carter to some degree still can be fooled. Also 50/50 balls against Chase etc..that's a tough assignment for anyone...a half stride off and its a big completion or PI.

You are 20th in SP+ advanced stats which remove garbage time and factor in competition. It's a much better evaluation than raw numbers without context. Bama is 8th. So, neither defense is as bad as some are claiming. Clemson is 5th.

Most LSU fans know little about Alabama because Bama played such crappy teams. Even Alabama fans aren’t sure how strong they are in certain areas, but they’ll learn in a few days. LSU is great running and throwing the ball, if there’s a weakness, Brady will find it.
