Well, Bama beat Tennessee by 28 points, more then Georgia beat Tennessee. Scored more then Georgia.
The regular season results don't really matter. Look at 2018. Bama beats every team in the regular season by at least 22 points. Georgia comes in with 1 beat down loss to LSU, a team Bama beat by 29 points.
Nobody gave Georgia a chance in that 18 SEC Championship Game, Georgia played their asses off and should have beaten Alabama. If it wasn't for Kirby making questionable calls, Georgia wins that game.

Bama Tennessee was a one score game in the fourth. UGA dominated from start to finish.
