Bad news for college football

Governor McMaster (R) says that spectator sports will not be allowed, specifically mentioning college football, until case numbers drop substantially within the state of South Carolina. Meaning Clemson, SC, and all other programs in the state will not be allowed to play.

At this point it looks pretty grim for college football this year. The bigger problem is the pendulum is about to swing against big budgets for athletic programs, huge salaries for coaches, etc... Going to be some huge deficits in sports because all of the costs of college sports except for travel costs are basically still there with no revenue to offset them.
This is growing into a serious problem. Don't underestimate the number of people in academia that are against sports in general. They are about to pounce because there is blood in the water.

If there is no college football this year because of these coward politicians, they will have destroyed thousands of scholarship opportunities for young men and women across the country. What a bunch of cowards.

Even the governor with a backbone Brian kemp who opened the state when even trump said that was wrong is saying we need to wear masks if we want football in the fall.

This is what the demofrauds want, a complete destruction of football. The virus is used as a ploy to get goals accomplished. They hate college football and are using BLM as a tool to get special treatment and change long standing traditions by using these athletes in different sports as puppets.
This is not for health reasons but politics. The demofrauds are destroying college football and by doing so hurts the morale of Americans. The goal is to make people depressed and more vulnerable. Then eventually football is no more.

Do you political guys ever get tired of pointing fingers, assigning blame and calling the other side names? It's exhausting just reading it on the sports boards. I can't imagine actually doing this stuff day in and day out.

And I am telling you these masks are not preventing the spread of this virus. We are shutting everything down based on a virus with a 0.3% mortality rate. You want to wear a mask fine wear a mask. I had Covid. I had all of the PPE that is not available to the public. There comes a time when people are responsible for their health. If you’re at risk stay home or whatever you want to do. Avoid family that is continuing to be out in public whatever you want to do to “feel” safe. What I am saying is these mask will not prevent the spread of this virus. It gives people a false sense of security. The only way to prevent it from recurring again is immunity. I have worked 2 additional months on Covid units since I contracted it and have not been reinfected following the same protocol I did before.

Ok so we wear the mask, but that still doesn't change the fact the virus numbers are inflated because hospitals are being paid bigtime for it. Such a crock of shite. Where is the damn backbone of these so called leaders and officials, just soft wusses of authority.

Up to 3 months of protection then starts all over again.
