Deuce Knight is our backup QB. He's a raw player but has some good running ability. I'm not sure if he'll ever be a great college QB, but he's a high-end backup for us this year

I really wanted Bentley in Athens and he’d have been a great fit for us. I’m pissed we didn’t prioritize him the way we should have.

This year’s backup is Ryan Puglisi. Better arm than Gunner but not as good running or keeping plays alive.

Not gonna pretend to know about back-up QBs. I would've thought our season was done when Austin Simmons went down last year but it turns out it was just getting started. I think Deuce Knight or Walker Howard could go situationally. I suspect Howard would be the guy if a sudden replacement is needed but Knight would be the one going forward. Hopefully Chambliss stays healthy and we don't have to find out.
