...THIS is how people watched porn. Just pop it in the ol VCR after school before your parents got home from work. It was so long ago that there was this thing known as "latch key kids."

I had a DVD player when we won the national championship. Just because you're from some backwards place doesn't mean the rest of us are Luddites.

There's no way in hell a Tennessee fan had a DVD player in 1998. The only people who had DVD players in 1998 were famous rappers and tech savvy millionaires. I call bullshite.

Do you feel this is a SEC and National championship run?

And 98 I had a computer and internet. Porn sites were already prevalent on the net back then. I remember setting a buddies homepage to one called Ampland dot com as a joke when his folks were coming to visit.

That doesn't really bother us like it did Georgia fans. We are not as insecure.

By the end of 1998 a total of around 1.5 million DVD players had been sold in the US. That’s out of approx 100 million households. It was truly a product for early adopters and the 1% when UT won the NC and SEC last. Within 3 years it would reach wide adoption levels.

Plus, 1998 wasn't that long ago anyway. After all, it was only 7 years before 2005, which feels like yesterday.
