DVDs were out in Japan in 96 and in the US market in 97. Per the inter webs they were under 600.00 in 97.

We have another 20 years before we reach UGA levels but even then we'd need to have to spend the next 15 years of that being very good but never capitalizing. Always being one play or one game away. And worse spending a good chunk of that seeing the two teams that were in your way struggle to tie their shoes and still failing to capitalize.
I can't imagine if BAMA, UF, and UGA were all down and we were having multiple 10+ win seasons and somehow still couldn't grab the brass ring.

There is a fairly good chance we pass you in all time wins this year. We already have as many SEC Championships and NCs as you. You only have 1 in the last half century, we have 2. You haven’t won the conference in a quarter century or the division in 15 years. What level do you think you are on?

^^At least, 20 years away from UGA levels of insecurity and frustrations that are often manifested on here as an incessant need for UGA player and team related affirmation. Often that affirmation seeking behavior is comorbid with the need to try and tear down others in order to elevate one's self-esteem.
Honestly, it's all too much. Here's to hoping we avoid all that.
