Dont think we were worried about the SEC. The LA injunction was massively in our favor and would have given us cover to roster em.
The wild card was the playoff committee and we couldnt take the chance of going 10-2 and being left out due to some bullshite

They’re trying really hard to grasp on whatever they can. This literally affects nothing. Nothing. No penalties whatsoever. The team we had last weekend is going to be the team that we have throughout the season, barring injuries. So have fun everybody.. :)

He had a very good existing relationship with the players involved, wanted to see if he could give them another year of playing ball while also adding depth pieces with significant maturity and experience. Its can also impact future recruitment by showing hes willing to fight for his players. This was not about adding top tier talent, never was, but some can't seem to critically think
