Seriously, not trying to. I think its a legit question. I would feel just like you do if, State had Auburn's luck 2013 and returned most of our team in 2014.It was a question for all the fans from different schools picking Auburn first this yr.

I don't think I have. I said, you could've easily lost those games and you could've.

I just dont consider Auburn to be an elite team.y'all are a very good team top 10-15, not elite imo.

They developed into an elite team at the end of the year but they had a few breaks along the way. You don't knock off the defending NC, the eastern division champ and come within a knats arse of winning the NC without being pretty good.

This may not be the case this year because of all of the experience Auburn is returning on offense but they typically start slow and get better as the season progresses. The key for them is to survive the early season nailbiters. If they do that this year, they'll be hard to deal with come November. Of course, so will Bama.

Look at the hype of 7-6 MSU is getting. There is even talk of a winning season.

What does that have to do with a statement about the hype a team is getting.

Unless you're saying auburn coming off 3-9 got lots hype. I recall the general consensus being we'd be lucky to get to a bowl.

Could've easily lost them all. I understand your fandom but there is lucky and then there is omg craziest thing I ever seen lucky. Auburn had several crazy lucky plays last yr.Y'all also had 3 close games with Ole Miss,Texas A&M,and MSU not exactly top caliber teams. I just dont consider Auburn to be an elite team.y'all are a very good team top 10-15, not elite imo.

Well shite, you should have just told us you didn't consider Auburn elite last season and they wouldn't have had to make that trip to Pasadena.

The only luck I saw was Auburn was lucky they didn't blow the Georgia game after being up I think 19 points with 12 mins left to play. It's rare that a team loses being up that much that late in the game. They were unlucky in the BCSCG and did what they didn't do in the Georgia game, blow a game they they had a comfortable lead in late.
