Two men and a truck will have him up I-65 and in Louisville before Auburn’s shock sets in.

Basketball is better in Kentucky when they are good - true.

However, they've had multiple public athletic scandals; they turned their collective backs on a HOF coach; Their AD - Jurich was stealing money; their President of the University was stealing; Their Board of Directors was dismantled; They had to be bailed out for failing to pay for their own basketball arena.

It's a dumpster fire to infinity. They have been called the most corrupt University in HISTORY.

Whomever takes it has big arse balls, and will have the most rock solid walk away payout in the history of coaching contracts. Guarantees will have guarantees.

I always thought Shaka Smart was perfect for the job, but I don;t know now with how bad it is there.

Louisville has the largest basketball only arena in the country at over 22,000, still only about ten years old, they are in Kentucky, which everyone knows is basketball crazy, they have won 3 Natties (1 in 2013 is controversial)

They are one of the best BB jobs in CBB, I am pretty sure they are off probation and the recent things are minor infractions.

If they want Pearl, they may very well have the ability to steal him away from the barn.

It's wild that Kentucky is suddenly so threatened by Auburn basketball that y'all would rather Pearl be at Louisville than Auburn

He’s got a massive Lakehouse on Lake Martin he finished building during the pandemic, the University is about to pull together millions to build a new basketball practice facility, and he’s less than 100 miles away from some of the best basketball talent in the country (Atlanta).

Bruce Pearl is going nowhere.

isten, I hate those frickers with a passion, but the Louisville job is up there in the tier behind UK, UCLA, Duke, UNC, and Kansas.

They are a blue blood lite. Y’all better hope that Louisville is not interested, because IMHO, he would seriously consider the job. Ego is too strong with Pearl.

Not in anyones eyes today. You are living in the past and are stuck in watching clips of the 80s and 90s. Like I said, they might have had that clout when they were in the Big East, but now they are down that pecking order in their own conference. Players are looking for the quickest way to the NBA and do not really care about history over 5 years old. Fans of BB would rather watch Gonzaga then any of the Blue Bloods. The shine is coming off the UKs, UCLA, Dukes, UNC and Kansas's of the world today. TT and Baylor are just as interesting to an 18 year BB recruit than any of those Blue Bloods.

Baw, we’ve seen this dog and pony show all the time. We saw it with Florida with their runs and y’all are having one now…Kentucky is Kentucky in we will still be around. We are not threatened about Auburn.

Keep telling yourself that and it’ll become more believable each time.

I'd rather he stay at Auburn. Pearl is gonna win anywhere he goes and I couldn't care less about Auburn. The hate with Louisville is real. The only positive for Pearl to UL is that it would spark the rivalry back up and it would mean they didn't hire Kenny Payne.

But true. That is how some time like Auburn can make an impact in such a short time. The Blue Bloods only mean something to the older generation of BB Fans.

You can tell how long they’ve been following basketball in general when they make such constantly ignorant and delusional comments.

What a dumb statement. Just look at the TV ratings. Duke and Kentucky alone make up 7 of the top 10 games watched this year

Why would he leave a school he built to the top program in the SEC? This would be like Dabo Swinney leaving Clemson for Florida. Not happening. Kentucky fans are delusional.
