He's not. If Auburn screwed this up badly I mean sure anything is possible but he's not leaving Auburn for UL. He's happy with his current setup and all of the major boosters for BBall support him and let those in the AD know we need to keep him. There's been a push to go ahead and lock him down and this may accelerate those talks anyway.

Guess it depends on the recruit. The only ever problem we’ve had with guys are ones from California that get homesick. Other than that, It’s never been a real concern

UK fans have not accepted that other SEC teams have caught up to them. They will only have one SECC over a 5-year period after this year. That hasn't happened since 2004.

Interesting observation in a thread full of Auburn fans who are determined to boil Pearl rumors down to Alabama and Kentucky fans spreading them.

You had better pray the rest of the SEC does not take an interest in basketball or you may be even more upset in the future.

You mean like Florida or Arkansas when they won National Championships? Why do Auburn fans think they’re the first non-Kentucky SEC team in history to have a some success in basketball?

Which is my point. Due to location, AU can make a living off players within a 3 hour of campus. UK doesn't do that, and UL wouldn't be able to do it. Atlanta offers Auburn and Bruce a lot of advantages, something previous AU coaches did not take advantage of in the past. UGA could be a sleeping giant if they ever get their shite together.

He’s already the 11th highest paid basketball coach, what’s a little more.

Nothing he said in your quote is a lie. The Yum Center is a nearly 23,000 seat capacity arena built for $238 million in the hopes it would attract and NBA expansion team to Louisville. Louisville is by every measure a top 10 school in basketball whether you go by national titles, tournament appearances and total wins.

I mean frick Louisville but they are a basketball school.

Is their arena on campus. The UL campus is a few miles from downtown Louisville.

no it was built downtown. The campus is about 4 miles by foot away. They also have a practice facility on campus where the basketball offices and weight rooms are located.

UofL’s campus is technically in downtown Louisville (old Louisville). The Yum Center is on the river and is like a 7-8 minute drive from campus.

Part of UofL’s medical campus is right near the Yum Center as well.

I hope Pearl stays at Auburn. BP at AU is good for SECMBB, IMO.

Even UAB realized you need an on-campus arena, even when you have an 18K arena across town. It creates a better College atmosphere, as many students choose not to attend.

That's the state of Alabama. Things are different in the state of Kentucky when it comes to attending basketball.

That's why you play in a high school gym and we have arenas bigger than any in the NBA.

GTFO trying to compare this shite to UAB.

Louisville pretty regularly is in the top 7-8 in the country for attendance. You’re grasping here.
