If you are a WR, and Golesh is your new coach, you should be on the moon! Dude puts up eye popping numbers everywhere he has ran an offense.

Big numbers haven’t really translated to early draft picks from that system he runs. The knock is they can’t run a route tree. They run open due to spacing and play design, but lack route running ability.

0 WR drafted earlier than the 3rd Round for Huepel at Tennessee, including during Golesh’s stint there.

Well, believe it or not, the WRs at USF aren't really expected to be drafted early, are they?

As I've asked you before, why does Auburn's coach bother you so much?

Now imagine that system with a high-end WR corps. Every DCs nightmare.

Not sure how he’ll ever replace that level of production.

No, just speaking to the system that Golesh will run at Auburn. Same one he ran with Huepel at UCF & UT, & the one Huepel runs at UT currently.

It’s a system issue. As an Auburn fan, that shouldn’t bother you at all. He’s being paid to win games, not get guys drafted.

Just pushing back a bit on the notion that top WRs should want to play in that system solely for the big numbers. Guys who are looking to be drafted highly probably should look elsewhere. JMHO.

No, when Harsin was there we didn’t have a soft arse culture issue
Definitely remember fans saying Gus had permitted a soft culture & they were excited about Harsin because he was going to bring a hard nosed culture back. “1-0 every day” was the mantra everybody was repeating.

in his words, Hugh Freeze develops WRs better than Nick Saban.

If he's that much of a doofus, good riddance.

Good to see that dipshit Cohen's plan of retaining the roster is working.

He doesn’t drop many balls

because he’s never open.

Good luck to him.

Serious question; Why would we continue to pay Thompson 5* money?

Saw this morning where an Auburn fan posted this is your year and his reply was a pic of Kiffin in purple. We saw this coming he was talking about wasting 2 years on snap before HF even got fired. If he was so good he would have been playing before Fields got hurt.

If he can get paid to put up 250 yards a season somewhere else then Im all for it.

The problem is that system likely won't see elite WRs consistently due to the fact that it doesn't get them drafted anywhere near the first round.

Hmmmm....wonder why he isn't still a TN? Oh that's right, USF needed a HC, and he single handedly resurrected a dead program, that currently sits at 2nd in the nation in offense. BTW, he's 41 y/o and has a top 3 DC now.

He can walk into a living room of a HS recruit, or sit down with portal player with confidence to say that he can put them in a spotlight and make them a 1000 yard receiver.

2 seasons

22 games played.

22 catches for a total of 280 yards and 1 TD

0 rushes for 0 yards.

Couldn't find the stat for his # of drops in 2 years, but I bet it is close to the # of catches he had. Plus, he didn't block for shite.

I think we can absorb that massive loss of offensive production, but thanks for your concern.
