Probably this.

No one is allowed to wear the aubie outfit... apparently this rule has been in place before gameday.
And I agree... It's pretty silly

They are the Tigers. War Eagle is a cheer. Plainsmen is a nickname and the newspaper name.

This coming from an LSU fan. I really enjoy Louisiana but that place is almost its own country. Everything from the laws to the food they eat is different than pretty much everywhere else. New Orleans is probably the most unique city in the country followed by Vegas, stuff just happens there that doesn't happen anywhere else.

Close. War Eagle is our battle cry. It goes back to the AU/UGA game in the 1890's. Auburn is known as The Loveliest Village on the Plains, so that is where Plainsmen comes from.

The mascot head isn't detachable apparently.

Haha. That's a good story. Corso asked for the aubie head and was told no. When he asked why, the director said that if you take his head off, it will kill him. We take our mascot shite serious.
You don't let Corso wear the head, you've jinxed yourself.
Aubie fugged...

Clearly it's because there are tiny elfs that live in there feeding tiny shovels of coke to the kid inside. It's why Aubie wins so many mascot awards, dude can go for days.

While it was not being played in Auburn, it was also not being played in Tuscaloosa

Bama played more games in Birmingham than they did in Bryant Denny.
