From my understanding, it was a play that started with the clock already running.
There was so much effed up about that last play.

You do realize that no official on the field signaled the game clock to start. So LSU basically had to guess on when to snap the ball.
An if you go look back at the replay, the game clock struck zero before the play clock even started. I didn't realize that could happen.

This is just untrue. The head official is the person who starts the clock. Just because he was not in the frame doesn't mean he didn't start it.
The truth of the matter....LSU had 8 men on the LOS and the same WR was not set at the snap, again.
