Bruh, it's a travel center. People are just happy to be out of their vehicles for a while, and excited about where they're going. Probably a pain though to get your fat arse out of the car and walk.

I finally went to the one in Leeds AL last year to see what the fuss is about. I seriously don’t get it. It seems it’s for consumer-type people who want any excuse to shop and spend money on food and candy and cheap gifts and trinkets. Given its popularity that pretty much describes America. The brisket sandwich wasn’t bad.

People get excited about it because it's a gas station that's clean, has exceptional customer service, and carries just about anything you'd need while driving - to include some pretty decent food. I guess you can stop by the clapped out Chevron with the bathroom key attached to a sawed off broom handle if you prefer.

I wish it were on my side of 85. Would be a nice place to take a dump on the way home.

Oh, not enough out-houses in Auburn? Y'all's woods are full?

DAMN!...FOUR posts in a row!
That hit a nerve.
TRUTH:
Bryant was deep into the pocket of Birmingham alumni(that's where most of the money and prestige came from). Not only were the B'ham folks TOTALLY against a move, but blocked moves to both increase capacity @ Bryant-Denny, AND to build a new stadium east of the campus on state property with easy access (McFarland Blvd.) to the interstate highways!
Hell, when Coach Bryant died B-D stadium would only hold 60,000 people!
After he passed, control came back more to Tuscaloosa. Do you think that out-of-town folks wanted to have to go to one of B'ham's most dangerous sections, be extorted over parking places, AND have a helluva time getting back out and on the road?...Man, PLEASE!

Drove past the one on the way to Orange Beach when it was being built. I told my wife that there was no way they could use all those gas pumps.

We went by it a month after it opened. There were lines at most of the pumps.
Bathrooms were spotless. The employees were all smiling and glad to see you. And a wide selection of eats. I say two thumbs up.

Guess you'll just have to keep shitting in your hands and rubbing it in your face like you do on here daily.

I’m 6-0, 180. Probably because I don’t spend an hour browsing and eating candy, cakes and unhealthy food at “travel centers”.

You need to ask BigTitties that question.
