Auburn has been at a huge disadvantage having your two biggest rivalries at the end of the season two weeks apart

that's yalls problem, not ours or anyone else's in the SEC. And it's also only a "problem" because UGA and Bama are so good, I don't recall auburn crying this much about it in the 90s or early 00s.

It has been compounded in recent year with the state of the Eastern Division

the state of the eastern division has literally nothing to do with auburn playing uga/cupcake/bama to end your season.

I don't care what the political correct statement will be from officials, the bottom line is AU thinks their schedule is too hard and wants to make it easier by moving a game that has been in the same spot since WW2. And somehow, for some reason I can't explain, our AD is going along with it.

That's not what i'm implying at all.

Maybe it’s be nice for fans to have one game a year st home but it doesn’t affect play on the field the way it might for Auburn with Bama and UGA

No, i'm merely talking about the fact that every other year your November schedule is void of those two games. Moving the AU game can at least allow you to end the season with another home game in November. As a ticket holder, our schedule blows every other year because November is basically worthless. In 2019, our entire october and last week of september is void of a home game. Moving the game allows for a more even spread of home and away games.

I know I’m in the minority as an auburn fan but I don’t like this.

This is the danger of conference expansion. Eat shite Slive. From AU's perspective it makes sense why they're pushing to get away from playing UGA and Bama on the road within a couple weeks of each other, buzzsaw.

The SEC we all grew up on us being destroyed. Auburn doesn't play UF or UT regularly anymore, and now the oldest rivalry in the south is being moved.

Nothing against TAMU and Mizzou, but frick this. They should've fixed the home and home issue before moving the damn thing.

But they're still ensuring UGA/Mizzou and AU/TAMU happens every year

Laughable.

Would Auburn be pushing to move this game if they were winning it every year?

Wrong as usual, you ignorant frick. NO Auburn fan nor Auburn itself ever asked to not play Alabama.

I'd prefer to have another home game in November every other year and avoid having an October without a single home game, yes.

I don't understand why everyone doesn't just wait like 5 more years, then when the next batch of schedules for 2025-beyond come out just fix it then and have AU play us twice in a row. Easy peasy, everythign is right, everyone is happy.

I still can't fathom why moving AU up 2 months is considered a solution.

thats because Auburn will not travel to UGA two years in a row. Only UGA will fall for a trick like that.

If it makes AU more competitive and it's better for us then I'm for it. I don't really care what UGA and their bitch arse fans think. I like the DSOR in November from a fan experience, but when they flipped the schedule I knew it wasn't going to last in its current form anyway.

If you think I'm going to argue with you to defend our AD you're dead wrong buddy. I hate that idiot.

It is a shame VOLS and Auburn do not play more than like twice a decade. My nearly 80 year old Grandpa still considers Auburn as Tennessee’s #2 rival like they were for decades.

Not against the move until it actually happens. It is a gamble on how good each team (and surrounding teams) will be in years down the road. It might work out fine and provide some variety in our schedule. Hoping it is late september or very early October tho

I'm against it because not only does it only serve to make things easier for AU (and does nothing for us), but it's a slap in the face of history. Same reason TWLOCP shouldn't move out of jacksonville. DSOR in mid/late November is SEC football.

Conference expansion has been a joke.

I’m just glad that other athletic departments are willing to help Auburn get out of a bind.
I’m thinkjng LSU in September, Georgia in October, and Bama in November would be nice.
