It makes sense geographically and it will help even out the divisions.
The East only has 2 good teams Georgia and Florida.
The West has Alabama,LSU,Auburn and a future powerhouse in Texas A&M.
What say you?

makes sense, the east would be more competitive for sure with the addition of Auburn

This is a new and unique idea. Bravo!

Who does Auburn get in the cross division matchup?
Bama has tennessee (a historically better program than auburn).
Who does UGA get?

I see
Sorry, OP, but if you really are a n00b to the Rant, we have exhibited this subject literally hundreds of times. It ends up being a shite-slinging contest between East and West as well as a "kick aTm and Mizzou out" instead of an actual discussion.

Tx Aggies becoming a power house when? Under who? Mr Jimbo ?? Lololol u could be a comedian. Tx Aggies like to do fake flopping all game, should be a penalty when really obvious like that multiple times

My fault.
I had no idea.

Agreed with OP. The SEC West is simply stacked, and it is Geography 101

Their recruiting rankings have gotten way better under Jimbo.
Number 4 and 5 recruiting class in the nation over the last 2 years.
Both ranked 3rd in the SEC.
They're going to get a lot better very soon.

Basspig - are you really an LSU fan? You make way too much sense, or you simply suck at trolling?. BTW, I agree with you. A&M will start improving next year, and will get better. The first foundation is improving talent level
A&M doesn't have the roster depth that LSU, Bama, and Auburn do, especially past the first units. It takes time to build that, and that foundation of talent is what Fisher was hired for. Will we ever win the SEC? Who knows - this conference is brutal
But A&M is a MUCH better team than they were a few years ago, simply from a toughness standpoint. And I believe in fit. Orgeron is the perfect fit at LSU. Saban at Bama, and Dabo at Clemson come to mind as well ...
Fisher is the perfect fit at A&M

You realize we had a winning record against you all last year, right? And we were only down 1 or 2 games this year I think.
This argument is so gay
"MUH BALANCE" That's actually you tryin to run away from Auburn
"MUH GEOGRAPHY" That you couldn't give less of a crap about.
And itll never happen. Bama would then have to choose between Iron Bowl and TSIO. SEC will never allow one of those to not be annual.
This topic is overdone af and does not need to be made again
Sorry, didn't realize you were new. Welcome to tRant, where this topic among a few others get repeated regularly so it gets a little annoying. Not your fault (assuming you aren't an alter), you didn't know

It's going to work itself out way down the road when the SEC adds two east coast teams in the next realignment era. Something like Va Tech and NC State, then Mizzou to the West.

Thought we were goin to a pod schedule soon?
3 permanent opponents, 5 "random" at least that's what Jimbo said
