They are getting their information from Bamamag and Tidefans... the stuff those guys are saying is sicking. They will defend a triple murderer because of their hatred for Auburn... Some really sick, sick people.. Especially the moderator (HSV) on tidefans...

From that booking photo from last night, I'd say its safe to say he was not beaten up by any means that he felt in fear he needed a gun. Unless he was hit on the back of the head with a bottle, but I doubt it.

Unfortunately for some this will become an Auburn vs. Alabama issue. I am not sure we will ever fully know what happened that night, only those folks there really know. But what is certain is that wild rumors will be stated as fact, that folks will make stuff up, etc. I am 100% convinced that some will use this to attack Auburn. That is truly sad.

It's been amazing to read.

That being said, unfortunately there would be the same line of thinking by certain AU posters as well. The amount of obsession by certain percentages of both sides towards the other is ridiculous.

Nothing about "fear of great bodily harm" requires you to be beaten up first. I can shoot a guy approaching me holding a bottle by the long neck like he's going to hit me. I don't have to wait for to be hit first. I don't have to wait and see what happens. And if my buddy is hit by someone else right before this happens, this strengthens my case, as it is reasonable for me to have a heightened sense of fear.

So I am not saying that you can spray bullets indiscriminately at a party, or shoot the friends of the guy you have a beef with - but the Zimmerman case nonsense aside, getting the shite beat out of you is not a prerequisite to asserting a case of self defense. In any case. Not just this sad one.

Anyone who ties character or traits of good and evil with their attachment to a college football team is nothing more than a minion of idiocy. If aliens come to our planet, they(the stupid football fans) will be the first ones who will die.

Well Bella, if we didn't know that before, the way the PedState fans defend JoePa and McQueary in the Sandusky case has removed all doubt.

It has, I just went back over after the first day and read the last few pages. it's amazing the theories they have deemed as fact, even citing facebook and twitter posters from the free woosie stuff as the facts for the basis of their theories. The Mod(HSV) over there states he knows more but can't say it , He used to say the same about the cam situation

They are already at 30 pages of , for a fan base that like to state Auburn is so insignificant, they sure do obsess. I just wish both sides would worry about their own kind. I realize it's the offseason but if you are an actual fan of XYZ university then that doesn’t mean you need to dedicate your thought processes to ABC university.

I don’t mind the jabs or friendly bickering, but obsession with another is over the top. I also saw how they said anyone opposing their argument were closet AU fans and not true Bama fans

Also I realize my going over there is slightly hypocritical, but the curiosity was there and I gave in

*disclaimer, I know this does not represent all bama fans or even a large percentage, just the lunatic fringe. And when I said they, that is whom I am refering to. Everyone has them, I just wish we could all just make them(lunatics from all sides) stop

I know. I just wish the aliens would get here, woo them with football bait clever disguises, and take them away so the rest of us could enjoy college football and shared humanity with friendly banter and respect.

My favorite was the guy who said it was an Atlanta versus Montgomery gang issue and the AU football players were major players in it.

Funeral arrangements set:
quote:

AUBURN, Alabama -- Funeral arrangements have been made for two former Auburn football players and an Auburn resident who were killed by a gunman at an apartment complex near the university's campus last Saturday.

The funeral for former player Ladarious Phillips, 20, will be in his hometown of Roanoke on Friday. The funeral for former player Ed Christian, 20, will be Saturday in his hometown of Valdosta, Ga. The funeral for Demario Pitts will Friday in Loachapoka.

Auburn coach Gene Chizik said Tuesday the school would provide transportation for the football team and athletic personnel to attend the funerals of their former teammates.

Suspected killer Desmonte Leonard turned himself into law enforcement authorities Tuesday night in Montgomery. He has been charged with three counts of capital murder.

The services for Phillips are set for 1 p.m. Friday at the Handley High School gymnasium in Roanoke. The services for Pitts are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Loachapoka. The services for Christian will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at J.E. Mathis Municipal Auditorium in Valdosta, Ga.

They determined, first of all this was a shaddy apt complex as a fact

Then there were 70+ in the big screen room

My wife lived there for a few years and my sister in law 4 after her. I can tell you it's a very nice complex and the big screen room where the were watching the room is a large living room

Then it was a gang vs gang party not a pool party

Auburn football is connected to the Atlanta and Miami gangs and they are a part of the football programs culture. Chiz, Trooper and Luper brought them(gangs) in

I wonder if you were to read their post to their friends IRL what or how they would act then. These people are fricking lunatics that believe anything and everything online as long as it implicates Auburn in some form or fashion

Remember, ATPB claimed that Cam was running with T.I. and possibly selling drugs. Could be linked...

From what I understand, Leonard was never hit with a bottle. He was standing next to the scuffle, and after his buddy was clocked upside the head with a bottle, he pulled out the gun from his pants and started shooting. That said, there still hasn't been a straight story on what happened, so who really knows.

I'd like to know what they were doing there. We're they invited? Did they show up trying to start something over a girl?

If its the latter and they weren't invited, then seems to me they were probably causing trouble and need a bottle broken over their head. We will all see soon though
